Hey I was wondering if anyone has any insight on what characteristics/conflicts a person may have if their mars is opposite their moon (I have moon in Leo and mars in Aquarius. I heard it's supposed to cause a lot of conflicting feelings/etc..)Also, I always seem to attract people who's mars is the same as my moon or whose moon is the same as my mars.... what is up with that? SavageScorpio, I responded to you in the other thread about Mars in Aquarius and I asked you there whether you had noticed a conflict,so yes, I know what you are talking about. Well, maybe I do, maybe I don't. My moon is leo, my mars is aquarius. What I have found is that the guys I deeply love are not the guys I deeply lust and never the twain shall meet it seems. No, that's too neg. I'm sure that's just because I haven't met the right one yet. I found something on the opposition the other day which might help you out. This is from www.thecosmicpath.com/index2.htm Opposition (180 degrees): Duality or Polarity, Separation or Transcendence. The opposition occurs when two planets are 180 degrees (or six signs) apart from each other. It is the division of the circle by 2. Because the opposition represents two completely opposite sides of a particular issue (defined by the two planets involved), there is often a relationship in the life that corresponds to a particular polarity or duality as symbolized by the planets involved. In dealing with or coming to terms with this issue, one must embrace completely what he or she is NOT or else make the decision to separate from it. This is never easy, as opposites attract due to the polarity they create. The willingness and capacity to embrace the other leads to transcendence of the entire issue. (Major, Hard) IP: Logged |

I have the Moon in Leo opposed my Mars in Aquarius. All the men who've ever oursued/attempted to pursue me have had Moon in Aqua. Every single one. Its funny, I consider Aquas in general like my ultimate lusted after of all lusted, dream male etc (Eros in Aqua as well). however I know that according to their nature a deep long term relationship wouldn't be best (with me). That's my biggest conflict, I'm always attracted to those who I lust after and I confuse love with lust & emotional need a lot. So I end up running out of "love", not realizing it wasn't there to begin with.

Sav ~I'm Moon (Pisces) opp Mars (Virgo). Some traditional interps say the Moon/Mars opposition indicates temper, but I think (at least in my case) that other aspects are needed to set it off (temper) or keep it at bay. My Moon is the apex of a Moon/Neptune/Pluto Yod, and Mars is the release point, so I have good outlets for excess energy There's some good stuff here: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/moonmarsaspects.html 'Zala IP: Logged |
