I have known a few...... men

One of my man's friends, Colin is one born on 30 January(?)....oh he is lovely......such a beautiful light shining out of him.....

My ex....for all my misunderstanding of him.....he was someone very special....I hope he still shines....

My husband's lovely Aqua moon....for all the aaarrgghhhhs.....there are many aaaahhhhsss....

For the wonderful Magus of Music......such a very bright shining one dont you think....his Uranian energy is breathtaking....not for the faint hearted of course......but my oh my......he positively S P A R K L E S.....

For Peajie.....come back to LL, you are missed.....such wit and wisdom, a wonderful sense of irony too....shine shine shine Peajie....

For one of my fave singers of all time, rocker Alice Cooper......Uranus at its most extreme......loved what he did so many years ago......pushed them boundaries to their limits, albeit with tongue in cheek of course....

For all you AQUARIAN men out there....cos at times you get a bashing.....i just wanna say........

YOU ALL ROCK......

Of course sue, while I suppose you're sincere and mean well, one must wonder whether this kind of flattery and affectionate gesture would mean much to a true blue Uranian.

I also wish to say that I don't feel I personally bash Aqua men - rather, seeing that I am very Uranian myself and feel a very close kinship with them, well, let's just say that it's not quite "familiarity breeds contempt"....but [/i]close[/i]. It's really that my Uranian side, as Uranian sides so often are, has little patience for other people's illogic or pretentions, especially coming from another Uranian. I suppose I could be nicer about it, but my Uranian side tends to think that's all just "a**-kissing" and thus resists doing so.

Does this make me a not so nice person? Probably, by social conventions, but as you know about Uranian types, we tend to also not care about what other people think. We simply do what we must do, or say what we must say (as I so often do about other Uranians). Arrogant, insensitive, soulless...perhaps. But I would not consider it "bashing" another person, even if some find it rude or unfair. Like an Uranian, I must live by my principles, even if I'm objective enough to know that there are disadvantages to overstepping that messy "human element" in how I handle certain matters.

I also wish to acknowledge that nearly anything I say about other Aquas that may be taken as negative by you nicer folks, I am very aware probably also applies to me. It's simply a case of it taking one to know one.

G N- Perhaps you dont yet know as much of Uranians as you think figured.

I have a few key Scorpio influences in my chart, but I dont dare presume to have the book on Plutonians even half writen just yet.

Suegee,, again thank you for your sincerity and warmth. Atleast for htis Aqua- its a heart touching jesture.

Yes, Sue, thank you for your words of sincerity towards Aquas, I see and feel your intention, and that is what is precious about your words, your intention. We cannot question a heartfelt word or action toward another. My feeling, is, we do not do enough of it for others. I love Aquas, too. As a Sag, I don't presume to know all about these fine persons, but people in my own life who are natives of this sign, I love very much, as I understand what they're about.

Much love to you Sue, as always - it is well-deserved.

kisses,
Laura

Hey BlueTopaz

Thanks......such lovely words.....another open and warm heart i see....at times I despair of the coldness coming from some here....no wonder we live in such a troubled world hey?

I feel sorry for some men these days, I despair of my own gender sometimes......and get the distinct impression that some women think it is wrong to compliment men ?

Love to you girl

Sue xx

Great thread Sue!! I also love Aquas - their uniqueness, headstrong, intelligent, great conversationalists, and I feel really comfortable with them. I have some Uranus aspects and an Aquarius Mid-heaven and lots of people mistake me for being an Aqua because of my uniqueness and slightly-rebellious nature. I love people that arent' afraid to be different from the rest and march to their own beat. I occassionally still think of my Aqua ex, and I have a great Aqua/Virgo moon male friend. I'm so drawn to them. One of my good Aqua friends is a female, Cancer rising, Scorpio moon and she always helps me see other perspectives and we enjoy debating philosophy. I thank her for introducing me to astrology.

Awww, sometimes I also think fondly of my Aqua ex. He is such a compassionate person, he'd rip out his heart to protect someone he loves. You know, once I got to really know him... He is like one of the most affectionate souls I've ever met.... The love of an Aqua is a still river that runs deep... Once you have loved an Aqua, the Universe is never quite the same Unofogerttable brave souls they are

Soogie ~ Please admit one more to the Aquarius Admiration Society!

I spent a couple fun years with a very warmhearted Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Chiron-in-Aqua man, don’t know his rising sign. In the end, we parted because he was a wanderer, drifting along to his own different drumbeat. When I read some of the opinions here about Aquarian coldness, and disengaged-from-their-emotions logic, I wonder, because that hasn’t been my experience. I’ve known another AquaMan for 10 years, who is a friend but also happens to be my boss, married to a Libran. This guy is scary-smart, people-savvy, and one of the warmest, most generous and giving human beings I’ve ever had the good fortune to know. He’s Sun/Moon/Merc/Chiron-in-Aqua, Venus in Pisces. We have interesting discussions as he’s a “conservative” and I’m a “liberal”! But we are totally on each other’s wavelength and have no problem shifting from the personal interaction (“how’s the kids?”) to discussions and analyses of processes we deal with at work. Long ago, I knew another Aqua who played guitar for the band that later became Steppenwolf (without him). I really loved that fella, but he wanted me to settle down (!!) with him, and I was young and not ready for commitment. I’ve enjoyed my relationships with Uranians and don’t find them strange and unreachable, as some others seem to. Possibly because my own Herschel is accidently dignified in the 11th house, I find those with heavy Uranus influences fascinating, not “intimidating” or “distant”, and with Aquarius on my Descendent, that might be part of their allure. Since I'm one who needs a lot of personal freedom, I respect that in another.....

I don't find Aquarians unreachable or cold at all, just the opposite infact ... and I've found that the sometimes aloofness is because they're thinking.

Here here Sue!!

They're quite something those Aqua lads! I've known 2 in my life and I fell wildly in love with both of them.

Wonderfully dynamic, refreshing, unconventional, unpredictable, maddening and exciting Uranus!!

Flattery might not get you anywhere dear Sue.

But it did get me back for a moment. LOL

Thank you ! We all need a little back-rub sometimes.
