I've just noticed a pattern. The zodiac wheel is just based on a planet's position in the sky right? Rulerships are assigned after a planet's energies are assessed. So then why are ying and yang polarities both ruled by the same planets? Disregarding co-rulerships for now. For example...

Aries/Libra and Scorpio/Taurus = Mars/venus

Gemini/Sagittarius and Virgo/Pisces = Mercury/Jupiter

Leo/Aquarius and Cancer/Capricorn = (sun vs. moon is kind of the same thing, two sides of a coin)/Saturn

Also note... The mutable ying and yang polarities are ruled by the same planets. The fixed ying polarity is ruled by the same planets as the active yang polarity, and vice versa. The co-rulerships were all dumped on feminine (earth/water) signs until they found more appropriate rulers. And last but not least, if you draw a line between Saturn and Uranus, the Co-rulerships go inward-outward (i.e. saturn/uranus beside this line, jupiter/neptune one removed from the line, mars/pluto three removed from this line). None of this can be coincidence, so my question is... why do these patterns exist? Hope I'm not barking up an imajinary tree here.

Oh, last thing...draw a line between draw a line between cancer and leo. Same thing as with the planets, the rulership pattern goes symetrically inwards to outwards...

If nothing else, this all goes to show that astrology is a real science, although a completely empirical one based on observation.
