Hello shop22much They are trine by signs like you said, but the trine is 120 degrees, if you want to widen the orb, they will be trine by missing 13 degrees, which is pretty much a wide orb. Some astrologers use wide orbs like that for aspects involving outer planets, but for the inner planets, the tighter orbs are much preferred. No calculator needed, just ASTRO.COM and click on the pdf chart when you do a synastry chart using EXTENDED CHARTS/OPTIONS showing the aspects between these two. IP: Logged |

A trine is 120 degrees, +/- up to 8 degrees. Sometimes this can be extended to 10 degrees if the aspect includes the Sun, Moon, or Ascendant. This rule holds for the major aspects: Conjunction, Opposition, Trine, Sextile and Square. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. 135 degree sesquiquadrate: the two planets will not cooperate with each other. This is taken from "Dynamics of Astrology", a mode and aspect book designed to teach you to "think" astrology.
