It probably has more to do with your Suns trining - that actually tends to indicate a natural affinity of each other.

My bf and I have our suns in the 11th natally, we have opposite sun signs and ascendants, but conjunct moons.

I think it is good, because we want similar things and we're definitely on the same wavelength.

i know that trines bring affinity, but was wondering what other than that, would cause such great harmony? i mean, if you have the sun, or maybe another planet in the same house as somebody else, would that denote similar values or ideas?

Do your respective Sun's land in each OTHER's 1st House as well? The 1st House is where you place a lot of importance, and perhaps it's as simple of you both placing a lot of importance in your friendships. That's a good component.

my best friend also have her sun in the first hse, same as me, so we are both very strong headed, even though she always said i outshine her, but i always tell her how important she is in my life and how special she is. She is also a libra but with lot of virgo in her, so she is highly critical of ppl, and when she do her usual routine utting ppl down in her most scartistic way, i just joke along with her. and laughter smooth all the edges in our friendship so take the competition down. but when we fight, i ALways call her back no matter whos fault is it, cuz u got to do dat when shes ur best friend. LOL
