Any ideas on looking at my natal chart what would be a good career for me?Im doing a jewellery course and would like to be self employed by my 30th birthday doing this... is it a possibility? 5 feb 1980, 7.27 pm, Southampton, Uk. I dont wanna be the oldest crew member at burger king.. in fact i want out by my 26th birthday. Cheers for any assistance ya'll can give. FAPixie IP: Logged |

FAPixie,Since you have almost all your planets on the bottom of your chart you live very much in your "inner world". Since you have no focus in the 10th house (duty, also career) and have Saturn in Aries (duty, also career; Saturn in sign of its fall; very challenging energy) ) you most likely are not interested in going outside and getting a typical "career". So a job choice that you could do out of your home or with the minimal of "outside time" would work well for you! With Venus (relationships) in Pisces (Venus in sign of its exaltation; very strong energy) focused in the 7th house, you most likely will want to work with other people to get your career started. Maybe even have a partner to help out with getting clients, setting up the shop, etc. However, be careful about which partner you choose: Pisces energy can be a little TOO trusting and accepting of others at times...make sure you can trust the person you work with. Jupiter focused in the 12th house is an indication of a "lucky" person, so most likely things will go well for you. Keep in mind that your North node (future goals) is focused in your 12th house (spirituality), so it would help if your jewelry was somehow "spiritual" in some way. And with Leo modifying the North node and the Sun (ruler of Leo) focused in the 5th house (ruled by the Sun), maybe selling gold jewelry (associated with Leo, Sun, 5th house) might be something to consider! my saturn is in virgo.... not Aries... but it is in the first house... so i can see where the confusion lies.actually i make jewellery with semi precious gemstones and am really into my crystal healing... its what got me into jewellery making in the first place. I generally make healing jewellery without the heavy full on new age look.. thats the virgoan subtlety for ya! I would love to have the money to work in gold, but at the moment I have to work with silver (my own preferred metal to wear) IP: Logged |

Yes...the confusion lies with ME!  I got confused between Saturn in fall by sign and in fall by house. What I MEANT to say was that Saturn was FOCUSED in the first house (house of its fall, etc.) but it came out all wrong! I'm glad everything ELSE seemed to come out OK. how can i post a chart wheel? i have a photobucket account and would rather post the Chart than the lists as i find these terribly confusing to read as a whole, and would like the visual oriented astrology buffs here to have more of a chance.
Hoping for tech advice...

It is good that you work with Silver. If you just stock up on extra Silver with savings, the appreciation in Silver Prices alone could be 200-300% in a few years. (50% return in 2 years already).
If it doesnt appreciate, you can still make jewellery and sell it

You are an Aquarius, you have a lot of Virgo in your Chart, and your MC is in Gemini. Also, your Mercury is in your 6th House.It's no doubt you would like to do work which is not the typical job. Something where you can feel you are doing your own thing without someone sort of standing over you all the time. Jewelry making may be the ticket. But I just get a really strong feeling that you need to be doing something where you are much more communicative. Where your expression comes through, but BEYOND jewelry. Maybe if you are able to incorporate working closely with other people, perhaps doing some training or teaching in the art of jewelry making. Being on the sales end or it, or something like that. But I just don't see you sitting their quietly for hours. Your Venus (art) is in Pisces, so I have no doubt you love beauty and can be/are very creative. ------------------

I think jewelry is a good start but you've got a moon in 2nd house. You have nice aspects to your MC moon and sun. Pisces venus.
Money is going to be an important issue with you and you need to have fun with your career.Think bigger than jewelry. Unless jewelry can lead to a large enerprise.
Do any of the arts that use computers interest you? graphic arts, advertising, animation, etc?
Perhaps a clothing designer with your own line and jewelry line?
Acting?
To sum it up - the arts, therapy, business, would be good just set your sights high
