Hi. I saw you post on the thread "top synastry...." and wanted to know if you could tell me a little more about the 5th house pluto synastry. I share that with someone and it's pretty intense.

Hi Kay,

How are you doing? So you share that 5th house synastry huh? It can be very powerful, obsessive and intense. In the case of my ex- he had a T-square involving his Pluto in the 5th, his Jupiter in the 12th and his Saturn / Venus in the 3rd and 2nd.

I come along and my Pluto not only falls into his 5th house.. but adds vibrations to that T-square (very Karmic). My Pluto also squared his Neptune in Sag (7th house), his Virgo moon (5th house) and opposed his Merc in Gemini.

There is often a "need" to create, to join or to spur on to new heights. Sexually, you can't seem to get enough of that person (actually it goes both ways.. the person with the 5th house seeing you as powerful, you being drawn to that 5th house person).

There can be major power struggles where that Pluto falls (his fell in my 1st and conjuncted my Uranus - he always wanted to put a cap on my freedom) I wanted to force him to grow up and to accept who he is... yet, it was that same magnetism that scared him. The sex between us never got boring, nor did it wane.. he did however use it over my head once in awhile (but that is due to a few other aspects we shared).

He has recently come back into my life.. we do have this incredible, if not fatalistic, type of bond. IF the Pluto in the 5th is expressed well, you will have a major emotional link..if not, there wil be power struggles.

I think this go round, my ex and I are trying to work in a valid friendship to keep from those types of struggles. I don't see us getting back together though.

Another thing.. .if it is your Pluto in his 5th.. he will ALWAYS find you attractive / magnetic.. but be careful. At the same time it can arouse a fear of feeling he is helpless when it comes to the attraction. That can manifest in another bout of control issues.

Please let me know if this helped or if you have more questions

Take care,

~Pidaua

Hi. I'm still new to astrology and the whole shebang. But it is my Pluto that falls in his house. We've been dating for a couple of months. Nothing really exclusive. Put it like this it was leaning towards that on my part until I found out he had other extracurricular activities going on. But there is definitely an issue with control going on. And we're definitely sexually attracted to each other. I think he may be more attracted to me though.

Well I do have another ques or 2 You mentioned be careful for fear of feeling he is helpless when it comes to the attraction." That can manifest in another bout of control issues. What would that mean for me? Side note I have alot of planets that fall in his 5th house. And we did create something a little one.

You're pregnant or you already had a baby with him? That makes sense. He is the one that will fear the attraction he has for you. He will also (along with you, but to a lesser degree) want to create that child - whether it is an actual baby or a creative endeavor.

The person with the 5th house will want to exude some control since they are faced with a very powerful planet, Pluto, in their house of creation, children, romance... they can't help but feel drawn to you but at the same time - if they are afflicted as was my ex- control issues will arize.

For example, my ex recently admitted that it was incredibly hard on him that I had a handle on my emotions and could show them so easily. It had taken me years to come to terms with the fact that yes, I am emotional and it not a weakness (not one with a Sag Sun / Aries moon wants to admit). He said when I would show those emotions, he wanted to punish me for feeling.. for being stronger than he was. At the time, he was unable to show how he felt. Instead, he needed a brood of women, on hold, to make him feel whole. He said he never crossed the line physically, but he did emotionally and through long conversations. In the end, we broke up, but he sees the error now.

When one stifles emotions, they end up creeping out no matter what. (He is also going through Pluto in Sag squaring his Moon and opposing his Mercury while conjuncting his Neptune). Pluto WILL bring out what you try to hide. It does that to tear down the walls.

So will the Pluto person when they fall into someones house. You are bringing out 5th house issues in him.. he may be using the extra-curricular activities as a way to distance himself from your power or what he perceives to be your control (even if you are not trying to control him)

I've been trying to research this whole thing with he and I. The information you've given me is so very helpful. The reason I started paying attention to astrology alot is because certain things were happening in my life that were coincidental so to speak. When looking at my solar return chart it showed the SUN and JUPITER located in my 5th house. I took Jupiter to mean expansiveness and the SUN to mean happy times. Then I met this guy who had his Natal Sun in his 5th house. I started wondering if it was coincidental or not us meeting or if it was some type of karma. Also he has a Gemini rising and my Moon is currently in Gemini 12th house. Don't know if that's related or not, like I said I'm knew to this. He certainly is very controlling. I do see the 5th house issues now that you explain them.
Have you been studying astrology long? You are very experienced at least way much more than I. Once again thanks for all your help.

Hi Kay...

I have been studying astrology for as long as I can remember. Mostly it was a kind of innate thing.. it just came to me. But then, as I got older, I started to get deeper into the specifics. I have spent hours and hours on the subject - which is like a hobby / dicipline of mine. My background is in biotech - biology / chemistry.I also study tarot and shamanism... long story.

I am more of a traditionalist in that I look at the chart as a blueprint of the person without too many variations. I like to take in transits and their affects on the person / world. I also like synastry charts, but composite charts are great for looking into the vibrations that the couple creates when they are physically together.

I am not much into progressed charts, whereas other swear by it. My philosophy is how can a person just morph into another sign because time has passed? LOL.... again.. that is a long story.
