lots of trines I think (Sun/Moon, Sun/Sun, Moon/Moon)

But very often the same trines make the relationship boring. Too many stressful aspects will make it unbearable...

Everything should be balanced!

I've heard that Sun Conjunct Saturn or Jupiter are very good indicators of stability. Of course Sun trine/sextile/conjunct Moon are alwys good as well

Do a significant number of planets in earth signs make a person more stable?

shop22much -

Saturn keeps coming up in this thread. I guess in order to have stability, you have to know someone is going to be there for you in the long haul, so Saturn is very indicative of that.

But there ARE restrictions involved. It just depends on how each person defines "stability", and it would have a lot to do with what they value at any given time in their life.

For example, if you are going through a phase where you need to feel acknowledged or accepted by others, then maybe "stability" to you during that time would be a partner who makes you feel that way. But if you grow out of that phase, then your needs and values may change.

If two people place a lot of importance on money, than someone will probably need to be very secure financially, and sometimes, that's enough...

But I don't want to say that stability equals any type of guarantee.

Yeah, probably - but if they are not happy with themselves, all the Earth in the world won't necessarily make them more stable.
