Hey all --I've discovered that the few times I've fallen head-over-heels in love with someone, they have invariably had a Venus in Leo. Does anyone have any insight as to why the ladies with this placement make me lose my heart? born on 18 Jan 1969 local time 09:59 pm in Evanston, IL (US) 87w41, 42n02 U.T. 03+49+44 sid. time 05:52:28 Sun-Capricorn 28°54'18 4th Moon-Aquarius 12°08'05 5th Mercury-Aquarius 15°53'12 5th Venus-Pisces 15°41'52 6th Mars-Scorpio 11°17'37 2nd Jupiter-Libra 06°03'14 1st (S/R) Saturn-Aries 19°26'39 7th Uranus-Libra 03°57'14 1st (R) Neptune-Scorpio 28°15'00 3rd Pluto-Virgo 24°58'23 12th (R) IP: Logged |

Thunderspirit,The only thiing I can really see from here is that your moon (Aquarius) may oppose her Venus (Leo) "Due to the astrological laws of polarity regarding opposites, there is much genuine affection & harmony between you and you're emotionally well-mated" but you really have to look at other aspects of the chart. I mean your venus could conjunct her pluto or her mars could conjunct your Venus which has other more "Magnetic attractions". IP: Logged |

thanks for the input, Rede! The opposition from my Aqarius Moon makes some sense...it's that darn Venus in Pisces, though, that swoons. *sigh* And most of the time, it seems unaspected, or at least only mildly. IP: Logged |

Be thankful you've got that Aquarian moon to diffuse the "swoony/dreamy" aspect of your Venus in Pisces (haha)btw- What is your rising sign?

hey there thunderspirit I'm a Venus in Leo lady and you know what this is a bizarre coincidence. I always thought, kind of glumly, that a Pisces Venus would never want a Leo venus and I myself, have fallen big time for a Cap with Venus in Pisces like yourself. So it's kind of pleasant to hear a Pisces Venus guy saying he likes a Leo Venus... still I can't see, astrologically, the connection since they're meant to be quincunx (?) I think. Were the Leo Venuses you liked Virgos? What with you being a Cap that would make more sense. Even a Libra, since you'd have a 'spicey' (haha) square. IP: Logged |

Rede -- Virgo rising, though just barely (28 1/2 degrees!) And I only WISH the Moon in Aquarius diffused my Venus...I analyze and intellectualize it a lot, but it doesn't really blunt it much.MNF -- Two were Virgos, naturally, but the latest is a Lioness through and through. IP: Logged |

Thunderspirit, I would have to agree with Rede411. It must be the moon & mercury opposition. Oppositions are very compelling, but very frustrating as well. I should know, I have them all over my natal chart. I too have an Aquarius moon, 8 degrees....and Mars in 1 deg Leo, Sun & Merc in 15 deg Leo, Venus in deg 28 Leo. The moon and Venus have too wide of an orb to be considered a true oppostion, but the others are within orb. My Virgo sweetie has a 12 degree Leo moon, and 15 deg Leo Mercury which opposes my own 8 deg Aqua moon. He also has a 10 deg Leo ascendant. No point to all this other than to illustrate how common oppositions are in synastry, and especially for me because I'm at home with that particular brand of energy. Also, for you...Jupiter & Uranus form sextiles to Leo, and sextiles although not particularly compelling, feel very warm and stimulating. IP: Logged |
