mines in Virgo. Generally, I dont like this placing too well.My dislikes are that when out socializing it holds me back as far as letting loose and being as outgoing as i can be when i'm comfortable, but when i dont know many people around depending on my mood and transits im usually pretty low key about getting to know people and it makes me seem unapproachable. Also I hold back my feelings really badly, I never ever show my true emotions. Usually because i'm too scared to show someone how much I love them because I fear they dont love me as much as i love them, this goes for friends, family, and guys. I do have some likes though ;D Venus in Virgo makes me very very selfless. Which may be viewed as a bad a thing but I looov doing little favors for people I care about, and i love making them happy. That's all that I can think of rite now, it being 7 am and me being exhausted. Ciao and

My Venus is in Virgo too, and growing up can make one very picky and critical of others. We do it because we think we see what would be best for them. But we lose the forest for the trees. As I've matured, I'm able to bite my tongue and learn to slow down and listen in order that I may be a more effective lover. But the frustration remains, Venus in Virgo DOES make you want to totally give yourself up to someone. It's difficult to find someone who will accept that and at the same time doesn't assume you are a sucka. It requires you find someone who can accept your gift without taking you for granted or getting a big head over it. On the positive side, it forces you to remember to sacrifice yourself for a higher power, rather than for a fallible human being. It would be EASY for those with strong Virgo influences to be a nun and I've seriously considered doing just that many times thoughout my life. Still do sometimes. Example: Mother Teresa who had Sun, Mercury, Mars & Juno in Virgo. Her Chiron in Aquarius helped her bring her humanitarian plight to the masses with enthusiasm and charisma. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Venus in Gemini - Good Lord! Someone mentioned on another thread that her Gem friend didn't get married til she was 53 and I swear I feel like I'm headed in that direction sometimes if I EVER get married @ all.Once I'm with someone, it's all good. It's just getting to that point. Talk about wanting to commit, but not wanting to give up your freedom! That's my Venus in Gem curse and it drives me bonkers! On the other hand, I'm influenced by a Virgo rising which conjuncts my Pluto in the 1st house. I can be one of the pickiest, critical and most reserved ppl ever. I am also alot of fun, love to make ppl smile and laugh and have a certain charm that ppl seem attracted to. That's the best part of Venus in Gem Simone ------------------ Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence? -Sai Baba IP: Logged |

Venus in Aries is almost exactly like Venus in Leo, only that I will not spend endless amounts of money, it stops somewhere-and I do not always withhold the affection-though I wish later I did. Pretty much the same though, expect too much, proud, stubborn. Just to less of an extreme. My ex b/f has Venus in Leo and he did withhold affection but made up for it other ways. Commitment is key for Aries and Leo, we are emotionally committed. Natasha

I have Venus in Pisces...It's a very odd placement. For me at least. It seems like the crazy wacked out people always follow me around, and it makes me really...avoidant? Hah. I don't know. I don't see the whole exhaltion thing. It seems more like a problem than a gift. IP: Logged |

basically everything sdg1844 said about our venus sign is correct, it takes me forever to get to the commitment stage of relationships.

nove, I know what you mean...I sometimes think my Venus in Pisces is not so much exalted as it is the bane of my existance. Being drawn to the wounded bird-types...so much depth of emotion it hurts...the weirdest bouts of fickleness ever...the list goes on and on. It does provide remarkable ability to care about the entire world...which is both a blessing AND a curse. IP: Logged |

I got venus in Aries, conj my Sun 1 deg....hopeless romantic, jump right in.. something been working on curbing in later life, caused me no end of woe.. my cancer rising keeps me grounded, cautious ? Leo moon has it's say also.. moon is prominent, at war with mars? (mars in gem 12th house, merc Taurus 11th) some balance there Saturn in sag in a grand trine -lots of fire so I don't know how I feel about my venus placement, only that it's lead me into some foolish choices, and some star-struck nights!!! would I trade???
