What makes me so puritanical sometimes? Is Taurus normally upset by profanity or sexual slang? I swear it drives me nuts when a man uses sexual innuendo that much! Is this normal when a Cancer is in love? My ex cancer b/f just wrote me a pretty explicit email even though I am angry at him and made plain why. Do Cancers think angry women are easier?Natasha

A poorly developed or aspected Venus makes one crude or vulgar. Clearly you are not.

Odd. I am not certain that men think angry women are easier? Since the vast majority encounter anger in their women firends and lovers from time to time.I am a zero degree Gem sun with that Taurus Venus, and while I can swear up a storm with my girlfriends, I hate men who I adore, love or have a crush on using alot of profanity with me. It simply erodes all mystery and lightness. Not sure if that's puritannical or simply different taste for and in a degree of things. I don't care if it's once in a while but definitely not in a written missive.... IP: Logged |

I got the Cancer rising,... makes me shy Aries sun + Leo moon there's something to be said for class, and romance, suduction, "the dance" LET THEM WAIT It's built into the male phyche I think, but still the Sagg I dated this summer was so juvenile with the innuendos.. felt like I was in Jr high.. got old + boring after a while (Not that I'm prudish)  IP: Logged |

I have Leo moon and Cancer rising as well, PLUS my Sun is in Libra, i have read in many of Linda's writings that Libran women detest profanity, however, i will admit i do curse a lot. Not when i'm in school or in an "educational" environment, but outside of that at social gatherings i tend to be a bit vulgar. Im curious as to why this is, maybe influence from friends? However if i am influenced by them to curse, then why am i not influenced by them by other things they do such as drug use, no ambition, etc? Very very curious. Any opinions?------------------

Odd indeed. I'm known Taurus to be very crass. Even the women. It's part of their being "Down to Earth." And sometimes they get way down. I can't believe some of the things that come out of my Taurus girlfriends mouth, and so casually too.ME: "This party sucks"
TAURUS: "It sucks big fat donkey b***s, and right about now, I'd be tounging his @$$ too." (((thud))) *sound of me dropping from shock. A guy we both know is growing out a long beard, which she refers to as his "@$$hole tickler," much to my chagrin. She says these things in flippantly in public, which embarrasses me deeply, because people will crane their necks and turn around looking at us. I had to break up with a Taurus man because of his burping and scratching and breaking wind at the dinner table, and talking of vomit and bowel movements as well. They just don't seem to have a sense of "time and place," and enjoy using delicate social situations like fancy dinner parties to display their more "Earthy" qualities. Something is off-setting your Taurus Sun; and thank God for that.

Yes Taureans are usually the most crass, but she has Moon in Leo confounding this. Classiest placement there is! (And i say that objectively)------------------

I find if I hang out with people who use it, then I do. My Neptune is strong and I am impressionable. So that's what I hate it, because I work in corporate which is nasty enough in feeling, not in word, I don't need more of it after work.Right now I am trying for a better job as well as running my own business so I do not want any romance as it leads to drama in my life. Every man I date turns into a fake wannabe actor/comedian/party animal/photographer who wants his butt kissed daily. It's not just my perception, they are attracted to anything with breasts and her own home. His words were a play on words for sex acts, *** down? be my submissive which annoys me because if I answer then I am saying yes. His sex likes have a dominant/angry side too which I am uncomfortable with. He has Moon in Aries, Venus in Leo, Mars in Libra, Saturn in Pisces.
he tends to raise his voice and scream a bit when he is swearing which drives me nuts. His idea of a woman is one who is submissive to her man and gets her ass over here right now! Sometimes I think I am exaggerating this in my mind, and then I read the email and remember my ex was like this when things went bad. Always screaming at me and swearing. I get along great with Sags, Virgos, Pisces, Cancers, some Libras, and Geminis, Aries if married or female. I knew a mars, moon, mercury in taurus and he was suprisingly a pig. So what makes my ears cringe and my temper rise when I hear this? I am a sexual person of course but I don't get aroused by emails that are piggy. Does he believe because my breasts are big that I am constantly aroused and can't live without sex? I don't mind the idea of it, but isn't there a way to be sexual without being boring and without degrading someone? Is it his Saturn in Pisces? Both men I have dated with this aspect were like this. My little brother has Saturn in Cancer and he likes to make disgusting plays on words, usually about ******* on people. I will call him but I had to vent as of course he will say he has no knowledge of what I am talking about as usual. Natasha
