I have noticed that Taurus moons body language is quite tactile, they are the most tactile people despite other placements even in Air signs. Not in a romantic context strictly, but in friendly or social contexts? What do you think? Is it an earth thing? Earth moons are more tactile that others? Tactile versus non-tactile moons? I would say my Scorpio Moon makes me the opposite of tactile. It is sometimes hard to just repress what I sense about people so constantly and powerfully.I do know a Gemini girl with a Taurus Moon and although she has the natural exuberance of her Sun, she seems to be very contained and controlled in communicating or socialising. i have an Earth Moon, and while I am known for liking texture, being tactile, touching things, I won't touch people until I know them. I know and respect this quality.. a customer approached me at work the other day and was very touchy feely and warm, and I appreciated it..... I admire it, and maybe seek to emulate it. Once I am a friend and have established boundaries, I don't stop touching!IP: Logged |

I'd say its easy to get comfortable with Taurean moons once you get to know them; don't have enough experience with virgo moons (they can get a little, just a little annoying sometimes) or cappy moons.IP: Logged |

I actually had to look this word up Yes that is somewhat true. Personally I like a certain amount of space but will come out of nowhere and hold your hand, put my arm around your waist and sometimes even jump on you. but in a very non-sexual or non-aggressive way. You instantly know I'm there for comfort or play. But then again I work with the public and there are lines you don't cross so you learn fast. But sometimes people need a reassuring touch. what an astute observation NM Taures Moon huh

Yes it's a very tactile position that feels comfortable with giving and receiving physical reassurance. Very much the opposite of me, I have learned to be very good with touching, small things here and there.I knew a Taurus moon that I didn't hold hands with and he never trusted me the same way again. I am very emotional in my expression, if I don't scream, or sing, or something every once in a while the emotions build up, the physical expression doesn't help as much. Natasha

oddball: Very true, I find it that people are usually comfortable with earth moons, or Taurus moons as you mentioned in a cosy context.lalinda: Natasha: Hmm...yeah I understand where he is coming from, you don't want to hold my hand, hence you don't trust me as I do, since I gave you my hand to begin with, it is about non-verbal communication, intimacy in the literal meaning of the word! I unconsciously do the same with people who are not comfortable with non-verbal communication, I am not comfortable around them as well. I had a Taurus sun, moon friend back in high school, we became fast friends, I would be sitting down and she happens to pass by and would grab/hold my arm, or shoulder or hand as an emotinal expression of "BEING THERE". You are REALLY there, it is sort of material manifestation of existence, you are not just accepting this friendship verbally but non-verbally as well. I find it in a way an unconscious detection method by Taureans or Taurus influenced people to filter their circle, people can fake intimacy through words or pretend that they like you, but most people (unless they are graduates of the Royal Academy of Arts or close?) cannot fake physical intimacy in any context (romantic, friendly, etc) for too long, if ever. I edited to add that when I say tactile I don't mean touching strangers lol. Evidently, when one gets to know other people, friends, etc. IP: Logged |

Well then, I guess my virgo moon is not very tactile unless were close. I don't really like to be touched by people (especially men) I know casually, its just too freakin' weird for me. But like pixie, I feeling textures of things like fabrics. I do know a Taurus mooner born the day before my sister who gives us these bear hugs all the time. We love her to death. My sister has her DC in taurus and is like that in relationships. Other than that, her gemini moon can't stand touchy feely...especially from me.IP: Logged | |
