asking for help does not come easy - which should probably be my first ckue to my new ascendant.
I professional astrologer did my chart 4 years ago, and was absolutely sure that my ascendant was libra. My sun was in the 2. house, and saturn in the 9.th- I'm a sag with a scorpio moon, and I do look like a libra asc. You know - harmony, pretty - all that... untill of course I open my Sag mouth.
Anyway - my father sadly died last week, and my good friend, who's an astrologer refused to believe this could happen without it showing up in my chart. I was vere very close to my dad, so I wondered about this as well.. My mother died 18 years ago, so I didn't have exact birth time..

Turns out I'm a Virgo ascendant instead og Libra...
With Pluto in the 1. house, a 3rd house sun and saturn in the 10 th...

I don't know anything about virgo ascendant...

Any clues to help me out - I feel like I need to get all orderly now - maybe I'll have more succes than being Libra charming - some challenge for me...

Love - JupiterRules - maybe even more - Surely

Wow, that's sad about your father. i lost mine ten years ago and sometimes it still hurts a little.

I'm actually in a very similar position; up until fairly recently I was also convinced that my Ascendant was Libra (0deg23'), but discovered that it was, in fact, Virgo (28deg31'). Weird, huh?

Of course, my Sun is also in Capricorn, so the Virgo fit in some ways anyhow...but it did require significant adjusment in thinking on my part. I can't say from first-hand experience how it would change for a Sag.

JupiterRulesSurely -

Sorry about your recent loss.

I'm a little disturbed by an astrologist who would say something like that, especially at this time. I like to think that astrology works more in the opposite way, not fishing for pieces which would confirm a theory. Rather, a theory based on the astrological puzzle. I mean, in terms of approach.

Although it may be true that there may be astrological indications to be found, I think the message should be that those indications, along with both your respective Charts, and seen as a whole, will help you understand yourselves in this incarnation. It gives us little glimpses here and there into the purpose of our life.

But we accept the information when we are ready to receive it, and no sooner.

Wishing you strength and understanding.
