Point of fortune. 10th house. Planets in Virgo and aspects to them. House that Virgo falls in.

In that order IMO.

So like if you had a virgo AC you would look to all the planets that aspect your ac I mean if you didn't have any thing in Virgo but your AC?

It's easier to see what's going on in your chart if you post your data. Look at the other points. IMO pars fortunae (part of fortune) is often extremely helpful.

Hm, your chart expired after I went to bed, lol. Have you seen Tim Wilson's site? Go to the cool links string and poke around.

Unfortunately I can't think of sites that deal with this topic exclusively but it is by no means a topic that is left out of astrology as a whole. Leave your birth data so that the chart doesn't expire and I will take a look. Or, sharpen your interprative skills by checking out Tim's website and going through all of the steps a few times.

Look at the planets placed in II, VI and X houses, their rulers, significators and aspects they make.

Salisa,

As you can see, different people have different methods of looking at "career". I prefer to look at "career" as only being about "career" and the "career" energies, focuses are: Capricorn, Saturn, and 10th house. All these energies have to do with a structured, responsibile, step by step method of job advancement. So if it is a "career" that you are after, that is where to look first.

However, not everyone wants a "career". For some people it's all about the money. So for that look at Taurus, Venus, and 2nd house. Or maybe they are interested in having a steady routine. For that look at Virgo, Mercury, and 6th house. Perhaps you are more interested in a way to express yourself: Leo, Sun, and 5th house will help you here.

But what if you don't know WHAT type of job/career/expression/whatever you want? In THAT case, it helps to know WHO you are and WHAT you want. And for that (of course) it is helpful to know basic astrology! For that, as Beebuddy mentions, the link below may be of some help.

Careering,

Tim

Ok I looked at my chart and I'm thinking the best thing would be a writer or artist or something in medicine. What do you think, I made sure the image wouldn't go away this time.

If you haven't taken care of someone in great physical need yet, you should, or probably will. If you know what I mean ... and if you haven't, try to at the very least do a little volunteer work to get an understanding. Even if it's short term. I think you will find great strength here.

Salisa,

You said:

quote:

That sounds good to me! With Gemini energy(thinking, also writing) focused in the 10th house (duty, also career), a writing career makes sense. And, in addition there is a focus on Aquarius (other people's self-expression) modifying Jupiter (ancient ruler of Pisces - hospitals), Neptune (hospitals), Moon (nurturing), and Pluto (healing).

However, as we discussed earlier, with a Grand Sextile connecting Ascendant (self) and Descendant (others) in with your planetary energy you can probably do whatever you decide you REALLY want to do!

Agreeing,

Tim
