There are some people who experience precognitive dreams, but most episodes of deja vu happen without the person having any sense of it relating to a dream. Precognitive dreams are a different matter altogether. Having the present moment feel like a repeat of something from the past is not the same as having the present validate a previous precognition. I have spoken to some professional psychics about this, and one of them said that he could tell the two apart, but that it took him some time to learn the difference. I asked him what the difference was, and he said that it was an 'energy.' That's not really enough to help understand what the difference was, but enough for us to know that there might be one.

I’ve been having this for some time.

Suddenly I realize or become aware or remember something, usually a tiny part of it. I cannot tell when I start knowing this though. I cannot tell whether I saw it in my dreams (I don’t think so though because I usually remember my dreams very well) and how long I’ve known ‘this’. It feels very weird. ‘This’ can be a mixture of sounds, smells, emotions and just a general impression of what is happening.
It took 10 or 12 years for my first ‘flash’ to come true but usually they happen within 1 or 2 years. So I suddenly get this weird feeling again, the feeling of knowing what is going to happen before I have time even to think of it or say something. I even know what a news anchor going to say if TV was?is on. It’s like the fragment of life you once lived (?? no, not lived) I‘d rather say the fragment of life you once experienced but it is not the knowledge. I don’t know what and why happened before this and what happens next, I just know this tiny fragment, it usually lasts a few seconds.

What is it? Some kind of precognition? but I don’t know anything except how it will feel, smell and sound when I am there…A dream?...definitely not. Déjà vu?... but I had known how it would feel long before it happened. I cannot even explain what it is.

Has anyone ever experienced this? What are your Neptune, Moon, Uranus, 8, 12 house placements/aspects etc?

Do you know by chance if it is possible to change it?

All my previous experiences were neutral if I can say so but the last flash of memory scared me a lot.

Here it is: I am standing near the wall shelves in the bookstore, I am looking for some book. And then I suddenly remember something (I don’t know what exactly but it is somehow connected with water..???) and get the panic attack realizing that something horrible is going to happen now to someone very close to me. It is going to happen in my apartment. He is there now. And it will happen because I’ve forgotten something or to do something… to turn off the tap (???) or maybe I just left him there when I shouldn’t have…All I know the tragedy is inevitable, I have no time to do anything about it…what was it? his suicide or an accident (through my fault…???) or maybe even murder? I don’t know. I just know it is somehow connected with water flowing over...

I’ve been aware of it for already 3 or 4 years and it scares me a lot; I’ve been wondering if there’s anything I can do to prevent this because all the previous flashes came true.

Or should I just never ever go to the bookstores again? What should I do?

Any experiences or ideas?
I think it is somehow connected with afflicted Uranus?

When I go to certain places, I feel I'm going to be there for some time. It happened when I went to university for the first time to write an admission test. It looked so familiar as if I has studied there before. I knew I am going to be there for quite some time.
Certain words spoken by friends or close realtives, in certain situations, I feel I knew they'll say it.
And sometime I say certain things helplessly, with a feeling that I have to say it this way. Once Spoken I wonder why did nt I change it when I knew I am going to tell it (usually for the worst)
And when I meet new people, I can tell with who I am going to have contact again.

What are your Neptune, Moon, Uranus, 8, 12 house placements/aspects etc?

Neptune in 8 (The only planet in 8)
Moon in 10
Uranus in 7

No planets in 12.

*edit*
Peri, I didnt see the last part. Oh! that's scary

Dreams mostly, precognitive, some of them came true 7 years after I had a certain dream when I had discarded the whole issue and made fun of it (I was young, wasn't into spirituality or anything at all). Then there is what sweetlibra referred to, people's words, certain places, etc etc, picking up on people's emotions and ideas and what they will do and say next but I link it to intuition not being psychic or anything.

Neptune in 5th, Moon in 10th, Uranus in 4th opposite Moon. No 12th planets, but angular water houses.

The whole idea of precognitive dreams or being psychic as explained by the excerpt here, is that TIME doesn't exist in the sense that we know it. For us there is tomorrow, yesterday bla bla, but in a metaphysical reality all events since 'forever' until 'whenever' are just THERE in the universe as energy, the things that happened and will happen; sensitive people pick up on that energy. Didn't they use to call psychics in the past 'sensitives'? I am not surprised.

Peri,

You constantly amaze me with your depth of perception. Must be your Moon/Neptune conjunction, its highly pronounced. I find myself learning things from you all the time or looking at them differently and gaining a
new perspective. One heck of an astrologer.

Peri:
I have had precognitive dreams since I was about 5 years old. I can remember that first dream... I was putting ornaments on a Christmas tree in a strange house, and then there was a knock on the front door. I was so scared in the dream... because I knew my Mom was at the door, and I didn't want to answer it. At 5 years old (and living with Mom and Dad) I didn't understand why I would be afraid to answer the door to let my Mom in.
Flash foward 10 years... I'm in my Dad's house (parents divorced, I was placed in my Dad's custody when I was 14). He had *just* bought this house, I was decorating the Christmas tree... and then, I look at the front door.... and I freeze. I was so scared and shocked! I waited for a knock that never came... and at that time, I understood why I was scared in the dream I had had 10 years before.... because there was NO WAY I was gonna answer the door if it was my mom.

I've experienced MANY precognitive dreams as I've gotten older. I've always called them Deja Vu myself, because I didn't realize there was a difference. A pair of Pisces twins that I talk mystical stuff to told me the difference, which you know... DejaVu is knowing the place you're at; the ground you're standing on. Precognitive is reliving the experience.

Now, what I've noticed personally is that when I'm not on "the right path" in my life, the dreams that I've dreamed before turn out in the OPPOSITE. (Don't know if that's the case with other people.) So, like my first dream, it turned out the opposite of what I originally dreamed.

With my Saturn return last year (Saturn in Cancer at 18 degrees... Saturn's currently smackin' my 2 degree Leo Moon, and I just am so excited *NOT* for Saturn to visit my 23 degree Leo Asc. BLAH!) all kinds of stuff happened to me... made me realize that I was on the wrong path.. and SINCE THEN MY PRECOGNITIVE DREAMS ARE ALL COMING "TRUE"!!! Until this time it was maybe every other dream that really happened in today's time, if you wanna call my present time "the" present time.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm living a parallel life? Could that explain these flashes into the future? I don't know. Sometimes I remember the precognitive dream when I wake up from sleep, other times I recall it within a half-hour of the actual event, or within minutes of the actual event... and then I can tell the people I'm with exactly what they're about to say..and they chalk up my words to me just having psychic abilities.

Angela

Thank you all
I’ve been having precognitive dreams for a long time already and got used to them. If I don’t have them for a couple of weeks I feel blind

The thing I tried to describe above is not a dream; it is difficult to choose the right words to describe them, it feels like 'falling through the time'. Hmm, something like the guy had in The Butterfly Effect.

Like I am at my parents watching TV, it is late evening, everything is fine and then suddenly noontime and I find myself in another city (where I live in real life, it's about 200 km from my parents) standing before the shelves in the bookstore, then I suddenly realize something terrible is happening at my apartment while I am standing here, and I am having visions of water flowing over.
Then I am at my parents again trying to understand what was that, something that really has just happened to me or what?!?!?
I have no idea about the timeline but I know I must be at that bookstore again for this scary thing to happen. I will pray and hope for the better and will speak about it with the person I worry about.

Right on Angela, the same here, I am ‘enjoying’ my Saturn return now together with transiting grand cross which affects my angles and Sun and I feel what was the right path for me earlier is not anymore; it’s time to change and get a different perspective on life…

Lalalinda, I remember when I registered here 2 years ago, I felt very ignorant and was too insecure to post anything, it took me a year or more to make up my mind and start posting and then you said I was a great astrologer… a few words of support and appreciation is enough to give rise to one heck of an astrologer really
thank you
