Hey all, as some of you may already know I'm a Virgo with an Aries Moon and Cappy Ascendant.

I don't feel I should go into everything that's been making me utterly miserable recently, but suffice to say because of unfortunate facts and difficult circumstances, someone I really sort of felt for, for the first time ever, has *had to* (this is questionable) stop contact with me. Or so it seems. God knows how he feels. It seems like anything ever said suddenly means zilch. I'm ashamed to say it consumed me. He had fair enough reason to stop talking with me like we were (I can't explain this now). But I feel so stupid that I'm devastated and he's probably fine about it and thinks I'm fine too. Contact is difficult since I figure he's trying to avoid speaking to me much now in case we get that er... 'close' again.
But if I do get a chance, is it worth telling him how upset not talking to him made me and how much I missed it?
Anyone know how to put it?
And well, he is a Cappy, say no more. I'm putting this on Astrology for a reason... astrological insight too if anyone can help.
Thank you.

Nope not pathetic, in some cases it is closure and theraputic.. I have something on my heart that I would like to express to a certain person but it is not happening right now. I know that when I get the chance to speak how I feel my life will be better..

Not pathetic at all only the mature ppl discuss things out..

MnF ..
*** Is telling someone how you feel just pathetic lingering?***
.. I love that phrase "pathetic lingering" ...
.. honestly it's given me a mature case of the giggles ..

.. telling someone how you feel ??? .. look upon it as good practise for the future ..
.. your earth sun may be shy about it but your moon could be wanting to shout about it .. slight conflict .. maybe ?

... gambling shot ... i'm guessing astrowise ( for you ) it maybe transiting Venus retrograde .. it is currently in Cap .. it could be squaring your Aries Moon ... maybe applying his Sun .. maybe conjoining your Ascendant ...
. .. at the moment .. Mercury and Sun be in Cap as well as Venus Retro .. so your getting a few short (days) hits of those as they square your natal Moon ... also maybe check the natal position of your Sun against transiting Uranus .. that be in Pisces at the moment at 8 degrees aprox ... i.e. check if your natal Sun is in the area of 8 deg virgo ..
from an astro perspective ... hang loose untill Venus goes direct again ... ... i have a feeling Venus transits hit the gals a bit stronger than the guys .. just a guess ...

***But if I do get a chance, is it worth telling him how upset not talking to him made me and how much I missed it?***
if you do .. be careful not to come across (** by accident** ) as if your critizising him .. or laying some sort of guilt trip on him .. .... e.g. "poor me .. iv'e been so upset that you've not been talking to me" ( ala' Scarlett O'Hara ) .. or that it may come across as .. "i want you to take notice Now" .... ... just thinking of Virgo 'n Aries there .
btw : .. i'm not infering that you are in any way like Scarlett. .
.. do a practise run in front of the mirror ... or video yourself having an imaginary conversation with him ... .. then play it back to yourself ...
.. u ... see .. by the time Venus goes direct .. you will have it perfected .. ..
.. i guess you would more likely to get a better response then .. as well ..

somthing else to think about .. cappy be Saturn ruled (is he Mr.Responsible?) .. so given that the 'age' thing be a matter of law ( your under the legal biz are you not ?) .. then he could be wary of getting on the wrong side of the law .. even by accident .. in the heat of the moment .. 'cause the consequences would be lifelong .. police records 'n such ..
didn't realy want to mention all that .. but it could be an issue in his head .. who knows ..

btw: ... now that your loaded with geeetars ... 3 ?? ... try this .. take one and tune the thin 'E' string down to 'D' ..
i.e. standard tuning .. .. but with that little difference .. now noodle with it ... i mean every now and again play
around with it .. .. there is a goal here (baldrics plan again ) .. as in you get to attract a dreamboat .. with an interest in music ... just by retuning one of your guitars .. ... you will sound just that bit different when you play .. .. 'n the guys will be wanting to know just how you do it ... ...
i'll write down some three fingered chords for that .. and post them ... but don't hold your breath ..
btw .. some player rekon those bigger headstocks are better ( re: yer strat )

play your guitar .. it will take your mind off the guy ...
WRITE a SONG about it ...
do check the current astro positions with your natal chart and his if you are able to ..
you could get some insight that will serve you in the future ..

wait till miss venus goes direct in anycase ....

NO, I don't believe it is.

Keep in mind though, that you can't change another's reception of those feelings...

I completely agree with the advice about the therapeutic benefits of playing your guitar- it works for me !

Play On,

Thank you very much Mama Mia, Happy Dragon and silvermoon

HD- So what does Venus retrograde mean then? What does it do to people? Can you tell me what any of those other aspects meant as well? lol I'm not up on my rertogrades
Nothing wrong with being compared to Scarlett O'Hara, she's a feisty character. "Fiddle-de-dee!" but you're right... so how do I say it without sounding all pitiful? That's my dilemma and I've been trying to think of different ways to put it...
And you're spot on. It is the age thing which is the problem obviously. He seems a lot of fun outwardly, but he is responsible and a gentleman. So he's got cautious and 'doesn't want to hurt my feelings' but without knowing it, this has hurt me.

I'll try out the guitar thing...

Wait until venus goes direct.... I am currently keeping my "Scarlett" mouth shut.
(Love that hd )... I feel the same way about much.... i've found that venus retro is like venus uh oh ! I keep playing the conversations over and over in my head which does feel pathetic but actually is just the type of crap venus rx puts us through.... I know that if i force the issue now it will all come out wrong... By the time 2/4 rolls around i will have it reduced down to the ridiculous so to speak and i will be able to say what i want, end what i want and most assuredly not come across as pathetic... but oh so in control and on top of my game...

Wait!

Mutable .. m'aam ..

****So what does Venus retrograde mean then? ****
ok .. i was sent a good link on that .. so shall fish it out of the filing system 'n post it .. pretty sure there is a related thread a few days back on it ..

well in short .. retrograde means .. that when veiwed from earth .. the planet in question appears to go backward / reverse direction ... ... so it appears that way on the zodiac chart ... normaly the symbol on the chart will have at least an "R" next to it ... i think the planet with the most frequent retro periods per year ... is mercury ( your sun ruler )

What does it do to people? ....
its often a case of having to " .. go over old ground" .. .. one way or another ... but with venus .. as i mentioned .. i rekon it could be doubly hard for the gals .. and as venus connects up to what we desire .. what we find beautiful .. or not ... .... well in the romantic stakes .. a little bit of the blues could be expected ....
and with your aries moon .. well you could hurt easy 'n blow it up a bit ... i lived with an aries moon for 8 years ... point is .. she could get right 'worked up' over nothing .. or take things too much to heart .. if you know what i mean ...

.. play along to some heart felt song ... an put what you feel thru your fingers to the strings .. do it any time you feel blue .. or for that matter .. the opposite ..
putting your emotions out thru your musical instrument .. .. that is one thing for sure that will make others enjoy listening to your playing .. it's emmotive communication .. be one thing that will encourage your listeners to want more ...

anyhow .. i be expecting visitors plus a musical eve .. will look for that link .. and drop back in here later .....
ps .. chart pics or bd's would be helpful .. to check out realy what be going on ... astrowise ..
so .. Llll'ater ...

Heya. Thanks again HD
Yeah, it's true I take things too much to heart. I always think things are personal, never knew my Aries Moon caused that though.
I'm not quite good enough to just play along to songs! Maybe I will be one day.

And charts? What- mine or his? I couldn't put his up! I'm too embarrassed. I think somehow he'll find it! Haha, god, I'm nuts.

i took a look at one site .. re venus retrograde .. may as well post it ..

this is off ... http://www.astrologycom.com/venusret.html ...

A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. This traditional concept arises in the illusory planetary motion created by the orbital rotation of the earth, with relation to other planets in our solar system. Planets are never actually retrograde or stationary, they just seem that way, due to this optical illusion.

Retrograde periods, although often problematic for us earthlings, are not particularly uncommon. Each planet retrogrades, except the Sun and Moon.

Fated Events

As a rule, retrograde planets presage a period of seemingly inevitable or fated events, which relate to their sphere of influence. They present us with a series of events over which we seem to have little or no control, relating especially to the sign in which the retrogradation occurs.

A retrograde period is best seen as a cycle, beginning when the planet begins to slow to a halt before travelling backwards through the zodiac and ending when the planet returns to the point where it first paused. However, during the cycle, the planet's energy is most powerful (and more likely to generate critical events of universal importance) when the planet makes a station, appearing motionless in the sky. These stationary periods occur near the beginning of the cycle (when the planet first halts as it prepares to move backwards) and midway through the cycle when the retrograde planet slows to a stop before moving forward again. The "direct station" (when the planet halts before moving forward again) is the most powerful and can be used for maximum benefit.

What does Venus affect?

In general, Venus, the goddess of love, rules feelings and emotion, aesthetics and tastes, fashions and all forms of desire, money and wealth. Venus rules social attitudes and behaviour, along with aesthetic tastes and inclinations. Venus symbolises female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates our values. She governs romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humour, and the pursuit of pleasure.

During a retrograde period the things Venus influences will be less apparent, or be of less concern to the world. Visual sensibilities are reduced. People dress with less flair and our colour sense tends to be muted. This is not the time to purchase clothes or jewellery, change one's make-up or hairstyle. Redecorating or refurbishing homes or business should also be avoided, though there is no reason why decisions that have been made earlier should not be allowed to come to fruition during this period.

With Venus retrograde, the pace of relationships slows down and this is not the best time to get married or give big parties. Since Venus rules diplomacy, slowdowns in all sorts of negotiations can be expected, including industrial disputes, legal issues and diplomatic endeavours.

It is a time when we are called upon to go back and take care of unfinished business. Often we are forced to deal with deep feelings that have their origins in past events. They are activated on an inner level but are often difficult to express to ourselves or others while Venus is retrograde.

Why she should continue to degrade herself by sharing her "feelings?" The man made it clear, with some lame excuse, he doesn't want to talk to her. He was trying to be nice.

Further humilation will only make her feel worse, and wear down her confidence further.

Think about how you will feel after you extend youself and he does not reciprocate your affections.

Shake youself out of it girl, look in the mirror and repeat: "I am not desperate! I am valuable! I will not waste my time on a man who does't realize how special I am."

Then pick your pride up off the floor, raise your chin high, and find somebody worth investing your time and heart in.

If you have to sit on your hands to keep from writing or dialing his number, then do. Go for a walk, read a book, get into a hobby.

Don't you have better things to do than fixate on a guy? Because he's not sitting around fixating on you.

I know there will be a lot of preaching about "being your true self" and "not playing games" but I believe you should put yourself first. Don't shed tears over a man who wouldn't shed them over you.

Preserve your personal dignity, and do not damage your self esteem any further than has already been done.
