Hey SD - was wondering what happened to ya...I don't mind considering the content in a conspiracy theory, as it usually arises when there is a lack of concensus to the facts. Sometimes the conspiracy theory sounds very logical, therefore true ... but sometimes it's a substitute for the truth because we somehow need to "fill in the blanks" when it comes to certain things in life. Sometimes it's just a nice bedtime story to woo us to sleep.
The only thing is that sometimes it can be hurtful to the persons supposedly involved, if it becomes an undeserved character assasination. Such as when someone involved had done something really great, yet the conspiracy theory cuts them down to a manageable size. That's very sad, and why we should always try to keep an open mind and not assume everything we hear is true.
Some things in life are left open-ended, and some people can't stand that. We feel like we have to make everything "fit". But that doesn't necessarily make something true or make it "the end of the story".
Well, you know... sometimes we hear something on the news that is a certain way, and we all want to believe it and depend on it, and then the news will say the complete opposite is true the next day ...
