I've been thinking about this for a while Scorpio's are like Gemini's in a lot of ways they both have two sides some times more. A Scorpio (or strong scorpio in there charts)can be the most sweet person in the world but cross them and they'll bring down hells fury on you. Which reminds me a lot of Gemini's who can be happy as a clam one minute a very moody the next. I've lived with Scorpio's all my life and have not gotten along with them all that well I think it has something to do with being so similar to them and all so haveing the feeling of needing to walk on egg shells with them. Does any one see how Scorpio's are almost like a more intence version of Gemini in the way of duality I mean?

I have been told I give off very Geminian vibes. My Mercury is in the third house though, in an air sign. (Libra) As is my Pluto.
One of my best friends is a Gemini, Taurus Moon, Leo rising.(I have Capricorn Moon, Leo rising)

I think though, anyone can turn on a dime if something they love is threatened.... at leat I would hope...

Whan I was speaking of there other sides I wasn't really speaking in terms of something important to them being threatened. I was speaking more on the terms of things other people wouldn't even give thought to or at least not really react to. Like if you don't get something you want or it didn't go your way. Simple things that happen in every day life. Or build up in every day life.

hi,
i had a long relationship with a scorpio..every thing was great, he was very compatiable...but he was diffrent from me in some ways such as not being witty,active,easy going, quick,playful(in a good way)..hard to explain..but the good points of being a scorpio were,he made my hyper active mind calm down.. his intensity was mind blowing, confident,caring,emotional, determined,disiplined and always seem to be in control of things where as i was like a little teenager trying to sort out things...
scorpions to me are really strong people.. but v r quite diffrent..

my dads a scorpion too..
i am sure u know the diffrence in geminis n scorpions then
me n my dad really like to joke, and v share the same kind of humour, v find the same kind of things funny..but he gets serious when jokes are targeted towards him...where as i would still laugh at a joke!
his intensity makes him suddenly take things serious ..i mean one momment he is all funny and then suddenly he is grumbling ..
my dad likes to organize things in life, it upsets him if people dont behave in a certain way or loved ones dont go by the rules. i like that in him its very similar to my behaviour but i am more easy going..i bend the rules to make them easy..
we r very similar but as u said it .. they r more intense

I'd consider Libra's scales and Pisces' fish to carry a more dualistic nature.

I've known a few Gemini's and I really see very little in common between Gem's and Scorpio's.

Personally, I don't see much of anything in Scorpio, or any Fixed sign, having a dualistic nature.

We may be contradictory, at times, but we usually have legitimately grounded reasons, far from being psychologically split.

Have a Scorpio friend.One of his co-workers is one of those sharpe-tongued Geminis.Whenever the Gemini decides to lambaste him he tells me that he uses his sting,and the Gemini backs off.I guess Scorps always win the debate.

thankfully i get along quite well with both (they both form my closte circle of friends)

but i have never axctually thought of it this way .
