Hey all!Been facing some issues lately that maybe some of you can give me some astrological insight about. I don't know how to come to terms with these conflictions in my personality: 1.) Wanting recognition, respect, and to do something GREAT. I like the idea of making an impact but..... 2.) I am frequently faced with an inability to find a way (or direction) to achieve these things 3.) A basic lack of insecurity (stupid Moon opposition Saturn!!!) and scared of facing the "big bad world" and being a failure Whew! This is heavy stuff right?? Well, can anyone take a look at my chart and see why this is? I am really interested in what planets you think are are involved. I am ambitous, but sometimes, it is really discouraging because I can never seem to come to terms with what I want to do. I always see "limtless possibilities" but this is at odds with my Capricorn sensibility and pragmatism. And well, dreaming don't pay the rent! What is with this "wanting to shine yet not wanting to stand out" contradiction I am always facing? Any insight will be helpful :-) http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=achart_v48fileamhlaQ-u1135903054.5476.19343.gif&res=63&va= IP: Logged |

From looking at your Wheel, I'm wondering if you get along with Leo's. I'm wondering if maybe they may have a message for you, to answer your own question, I mean...I see where you are confused in terms of following through. Don't be too analytical, and be accepting of guidance from those immediately around you. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

My chart is fairly similar. We have four planets and an Ascendant in common. My Sun is also Capricorn, my ascendant is also Gemini, my Mars is also Scorpio. My info is Dec. 26, 1972 at 2:34pm in Orange, CA. I'm a little older, so hopefully I can be helpful.Cap and Gemini are confusing together in my opinion. Capricorns are supposed to be decisive as Cardinal signs, but Gemini throws in heavy doses of restlessness and indecisiveness. The trade off is that we're even more brilliant. It's difficult to learn to express both signs harmoniously. That's part of the reason I believe we're late bloomers. It takes time for us to come to accept ourselves and really embrace expressing ourselves the way we want to. In my adult life I've switched jobs more often than all of my friends. Even in the Navy I had three distinct and separate jobs, which is unusual. I have never had a job I've been passionate about, and I've never been able to turn my passions and talents into a carreer, though I think that will change relatively shortly. The problem as a young adult is lack of focus. We can't seem to keep our mind undistracted long enough to accomplish anything. You likely want help as you're saying here, but there are probably very few people around you who can comprehend your personality enough to give you the help you need. You'll find comfort if you can forge a partnership with someone whom you can express your talents with. I just turned 33, and as I said, things are just now starting to come clear. I strongly believe that the traditional timeline for how society expects adults to act and live is not how you and I do. I think we're going to get a late start, and still be able to catch up and even surpass our peers. Our confidence and self-acceptance builds over time, and I'm beginning to think that it starts to develop it's own steam. It's too late for me to go on much further now, but just know it's not all in vain. You will survive, and eventually things will happen for you. The best thing you can do for yourself is accept yourself, and learn to express the conflicting aspects of your personality. Eventually the conflicts between these aspects will be replaced by a union between these aspects, and that's when you'll find your place. IP: Logged |

Hey! Im having some probs of my own in those areas. (Scorpio sun, sag moon, aqu rising) On sunday I went to a psychic expo and my wonderfull mother picked up Linda Goodman's star sighns. It has some very helpfull tips for finding your path. If there is any way you could get a copy of it you may find some help there. If not I may be able to sort something out. !IP: Logged |

Send me an email, I will email you a very helpful e-book that will aid you to shine in your time. My own suggestion is first define your own idea of success than adhere to media brainwashing on what success is [money, fame, celebrity status]. It helps if it is attainable. After you attain it, raise the bar a little. The Universe is Infinite and we have millions of births in several dimensions in several intelligent lifeforms so even if you miss out on what you think is successful, you may have attained it or are going to attain it in a future timeline. Also look up Percy Ross' life on google. To me he is 1000 times more successful than Bill Gates. IP: Logged |

Hi all!Thank you all for your replies! They were very helpful! Sorry for such a long time between a reply, but I just got back into college gear after the holiday break, and it has been stressful to say the least! AcousticGod: Thank you so much for sharing your story! I definately think you are onto something. In fact, I have been a "late bloomer" in many things, and very mature in other facets of life. I can only hope that your theory is correct-I hope to come into my own as time passes. I feel as if I will be one of those people who have x amount of jobs before such and such date. However, you have helped me realize that that may not be such a bad thing! :-) Shuz: I once own Star Signs, and my copy was destroyed! At any rate, I may look into buying another, probably from Amazon.com (I LOVE Amazon!) Iphunk:Is it still ok to send you an e-mail??? I would like more information about that book! I googled Percy Ross. Giving away millions! From "nothing" to "everything." Amazing! Astrojunkie: It is ironic what you say about Leo's. What in my chart speaks to you about that?? Someone else here in Lindaland said that before. Would you mind sharing? My mother is a Leo. I have Moon in the 12th house (Taurus) and Moon Sq. Saturn. Well, suffice to say, I have some "mommy issues" lol. I LOVE her, but sometimes, well...sometimes. But she has already taught me about life so much in such a short period of time. My aunt is also another Leo. She is quite the character. They both are actually so I bet I would have something to learn from them! Thanks again all! IP: Logged |

Weird! My mom's a Leo, too!! As are all three of her brothers.I've got a 5th house Moon in Virgo, though, which is supposed to make me be close to my mom, and I remember reading in one of my chart interpretations that I may act as a parent to her. IP: Logged |

geminirising26 and AcousticGod -I don't know why you both have the Leo thing in common in your Charts, but it's cool that you two have so much in common in your Charts. Sometimes I see things by looking at the actual image of the Wheel that I would NEVER see looking at a list of placements & Aspects. And vise versa. For cartoon-minded people like me, it's easier to see configurations such as Kites, T-Squares, Funnels, etc. Unfortunately, to refer back to your Wheel and rewind my train-of-thought is impossible because the image of the Wheel expired. That's astro.com's server's cleaning their cache regularly to save bandwidth. They have an extensive interactive site, so I forgive them for this. Try photobucket.com. I've never used it myself, but newbies and people whose primary language is not english seem to be able to figure it out quickly & easily. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

AcousticGod -Ok, the first word that comes to mind may be easily misconstrued, so stay with me... "Insemination" - as in n 1: the act of sowing (of seeds in the ground or, figuratively, ... or ideas in the mind, etc.) I don't mean it like, you're a sex freak or something. I mean, you have this need EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL DAY to do that. And OK, I know the urge to do that would not be too far from the urge to create children. You might not have acted on any of this yet, or never will, OR, I could be totally off. At the very least, that you long to spread parts of your true self EVERYWHERE. Like that .... that's what I mean by insemination. Where one person may be happy planting one figurative "seed", you want it to rain with yours. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

That's fairly true. I am always trying to find expression for myself. I play a few instruments. I just took up photography. I'm looking into starting my own side business right now for my photography. You're the first person to ever try to give a snapshot interpretation of my chart here. That was pretty cool. I've always wanted a real live person to look at it and say something. IP: Logged |

You can either save it to your hard drive OR get it directly off the internet. In Photobucket, you see above the box labeled 'Picture' where it says, "Add pictures from URL." Click that if you don't want to save the image to your hard drive. To get the url from astro.com, right click the image and choose 'Properties.' In the window that comes up there will be a web address. Copy that address to the Url box in photobucket. That should do it. (To copy quickly, press and hold the left mouse button while selecting the address text. Once you have the address highlighted, release the left button and hit the right button. Choose Copy. Then click once inside the Url box at Photobucket. Then right click inside that same box, and choose Paste.) IP: Logged |

AcousticGod -So in essence you are saying that photobucket.com automatically takes a snapshot of the PROPERTIES value? Maybe that's why it's so easy... (?) ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

geminirising26 -OK... I'm in... When I looked at your Wheel, I saw how empty the Leo area is. In order to find balance and flow in my head when I look at the Wheel, the thing which I think would intuitively create that is how I came to Leo. My feeling is that when it comes to the Wheel, looking at the angles alone says more in and by itself than considering what Planets are involved. I come to a conclusion there first. Then keeping that exploration intact, I check with the Planets a little bit. I don't pay too much attention to the Signs, but will next go to the House placements of the Planets. I think when someone has a Configuation in their Wheel, (like a Kite, T-Square, Grand Trine, etc.), and they really begin to study it as it relates to them, they have a greater sensitivity to the energies inherent in the Wheel. For me, having the need to find out more about a challenging T-Square, I did a lot of looking around, reading books, talking to astrologists. But have to stress. The point from which I begin is based on what the person's query is. That way when I go in, I'm focused on that and wait for an answer to arrive to me. You mentioned some things that made me see that, PERHAPS, you need someone you would listen to. And I don't use the word "need" very lightly when it comes to a Capricorn with a Taurus Moon & Gemini Asc. But that's the point, eh? ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged | |
