I'm a newbie here!!, I've been reading Astrology for about an year (mostly on the internet)- and I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!!.

I've been trying to read my birth chart (though I found it VERY hard to interpret my OWN birth chart- weird, huh!?)- wonder why...

However my question is, I have a 6th house Sun but I don't feel related AT ALL with all the descriptions I've read!!!.

"sevice-oriented" "work in medical envoriment" "health" etc...

The same happens with my Venus (in leo) in the 6th house...

I don't like working at all!!- I'm afraid that my life would be as boring as the descriptions of the 6th house!! hehe.

Well just wondering what's your experience with this houses and planets in your birth-charts

Any insight is very appreciated it!!!!

I, too, have a Venus in Pisces in the 6th house. While I don't think the service work aspect of the 6th fits me, try thinking a little broader...for example, I know for certain that I spend time in service as part of a relationship or friendship. Whether it's being a sounding board or lending emotional support when someone needs it, that's something I'm always drawn to do...and I think it fits the Venus Pisces placement in the 6th house ideally.

indicating

Leo (self-expression, also dating) modifying Venus (relationships) focused in the 6th house (daily work)

so you want to continually have dating-relationships where you go out have a good time with other people all the time! The 6th house simply indicates a need for a "routine" of some type: nobody said it had to be a BORING routine!

Well what you said makes more sense...I really like having a good time everywhere I go!

I like work to be fun?- arts? creative- nice environments? (yes, that could be...)-I certainly can't stand tedious boring work...

I don't have a job (actually I've never had one for real). I'm 21 years old and I'm studying at University.

Righ now I'm having a "vocational crisis", since I don't know if I want to continue with my studies!. I'm having exams, and I can't concentrate because I can't study something that doesn't makes me feel really happy.

(well but that's another thread- vocational help!!) hahaha

Nice to meet you!! I love Geminis, the are soo funny and nice, I can talk for hours with you ppl.

So in your case the health thing of the sun in the 6th is true!?. Well in mine not!. I've had very good health all my life!!

What aspects does your sun have??

Mine: a square from pluto (in libra in the 9th), and a quincunx from neptune (in saggitarius in the 11th)
