I was reminded of this recently because was watching TV and saw Johnny Depp, back in day, said the exact same thing. He said, "I can't wait to be thirty. Ten years in the 20's is just too long."

I've always known intuitively that it had to do with my Saturn in Capricorn.

but anywayz...

Johnny Depp has his Moon in Capricorn, and I'm just CONVINCED it's that Saturn influence because he has a Gemini Sun, and they are notorious for staying young in old age.

Perhaps it has to do with being an Air Sun, or having influences in Gemini (my 1st House is mostly in Gemini) - your Saturn has little patience for what it perceives as Gemini's "flightiness". You mess up a lot and you just want to learn from your lessons and be wise so you don't keep messing up!

Of course, I'm staying with the Sign of Capricorn here, to start out simple, if you have Ascendant, Sun, Moon or Saturn in Capricorn. I really think having one of these Planets in the Sign of Capricorn gives Saturn a different kind of influence over a Chart. And it is from there I'd consider looking to the Saturn Aspects.

Johnny Depp has his Moon in Capricorn. His Saturn Aspects are :::

Sun Trine Saturn
Mercury (in 10th House) Square Saturn
Venus (in 10th House) Square Saturn
Saturn Opposite Uranus

He's been known to blow an emotional gasket (not that I blame him sometimes) - and those Aspects seem to speak to that. His Gemini Sun trying to be tamed by Saturn. His mode of logic and communication at cross-purposes with an already overbearing Saturn. A Venus that won't be left alone either, leaving him feeling unlovable. And Opposite his Uranus, well - nuff' said.

So strong his need to settle his Saturn needs, he dated longtime girlfriend Kate Moss, who has Capricorn Sun, Ceres, Pallas, & Juno. Then MARRIED Vanessa Paradis, who has Capricorn Sun, Jupiter & North Node.

So I ask the question, has you or someone you know have that VERY PROFOUND wish to be 30?

Funny you said that, I don't have any Capricorn in my chart and I don't want to reach 30 !!! -

My brother (who is 16) is an Aquarius with Capricorn ASC (also Uranus, Neptune and Saturn in the 1st house)- is always speaking about "what he will do in his older days"- (30 and up)- He feels that he will really enjoy life more.

By the way, Johnny Depp is one of my fav actors, jeez, he is so great (and gorgeous of course) LOL

i didn't mind that particlar birthday (besides drowning in a debilitating relationship at the time)...

i 'spose i've always felt the shackles of dependency...and like, getting older would equal becoming stronger and more independent.

my cappy influence has always had a very strong impact on me...also that my birth number is 8, which resonates with and carries the saturn vibration.

Part of the reason I think Depp seems so young is his Leo rising. Being a Leo rising, most people guess I'm about ten years younger. I dated someone who also had lots of Leo and he seemed 10 yrs younger also. I think my generation is actually younger than previous generations. I've seen a few current ads that finally acknowledged this by having 40+ year old models with ripped jeans etc.

Johnny Depp also has mars in the first house (so does his "wife" --Did they actually get married? I saw a ring on his marriage finger in a recent interview. Personally I think he would do better with an Aqua or Taurus)First house mars could explain some of the anger issues.

I think the big pitfall of the twenties for me was insecurity and lack of focus. For all of you twenty year olds out there - treasure this time because it all goes so quickly. Plant seeds for your future - they'll bloom faster than you can imagine. Consider what you've always wanted to do and begin it now. Never learned that foreign language in HS or college? Start now.
