Topic: Soulmates...?

This is probably more of an opinion question, and I'm sure there are connections between Astrology and your opinion, but since there are so many topics on here having to do with love and soulmates, ect, I was wondering what people think. Is it true that everyone has a soulmate? Or are we all just people who pick others out because we get along and everything, but there isn't really any fate involved or anything?
This is probably a strange question coming from me, since I have a tendency to dislike the entire thought and idea of relationships as it is, but I'm curious. What do you think?IP: Logged |

Hello Illusions_fool...
Aside from Astro Junkie's point but, in that same idea, I believe that it is one's own choice and, part of their own life plan. Soulmate, in my own opinion, does not necessarily mean a relationship that is intimate. My belief is that Soulmate's are anyone who impacts your life, in any way.... good or bad... They help one to understand or, at least, they try to... as one encounters life. There was a string, somewhere in this site's boards, that gave the most beautiful description of the Soul and, it's many journeys... unfortunatly, I have yet to find it but, I have not given up the search. If I am successful, I'll give it's link.

well re topic .. "soulmate" .. be just a phrase someone coined ..
just the way i see it .. but i could be just a sceptical so and so :-) re: the Saturn aspects in your chart ..
( i copied that chart off the thread )
i intend to write something about them if i can ..
not too many ppl here have that Sat/venus aspect ..
at least .. i don't think so ...
.. but for now remember this .. and i believe it to be true ..
as you get older .. and get thru the knocks saturn may provide ..
the Saturn rewards start to appear ... its a hard path is that
Sat Venus aspect .. relationships .. the arts .. money ...
... however .. please don't ever give up ...
and if your feeling low .. just pop a note into the astro forum
and i will check whats going on in your chart .. you won't be alone .. ok .. :-) oh and b.t.w. : if you like a bit of music now and again ...

I believe i have met 2 of my soul mates..the connection was instant...indescribable and changed my life from the instant i knew them...it was llike a recognition on both sides...and each of us felt it more and more the more we found out about each other..the second one taught me i can have that connection with someone but it doesnt mean we are meant to "be" together forever..i feel a soul mate is someone that you agreed to meet up with this time around..IP: Logged |

I believe "Soul Clusters" as written by knowflake Fayte are a reality for everybody, Every human being has one or many SoulMates from the "Soul Cluster" in every life and they may largely appear as relatives, friends, mentors.
For a small percenatge of people these SoulMates may appear as relationships or even as a spouse/spouses.
Twin-Selves however are very rare. Though Linda's school of thought believes that a Twin Soul is compuslory for immortality, research of Yogic Siddhas proves it is not necessary, as Linda herself put it that several Yoga brotherhood people had attained immortality. Yogis are celibates!Those who find a soul-mate as a lover or spouse should consider themselves to be very fortunate indeed!

Soul mates are people you’ve met/known in past lives. I think. And you just keep meeting them over and over again…till you get sick and tried of their face 
It’s meant to be. But obviously not everyone’s gonna meet their soul mate. I’ve read this in a few places including Love Signs - something about loving yourself before others can love you.It’s all oh so confusing. IP: Logged |

llusions_fooljust a quick note ...
i put a chart together .. just to see what transits may be happening ..
thing is ... i keep coming up with taurus ascendant .. my software
.. well at least the way i have it set up .. calculates the time difference
from GMT in long.lat. 'degrees' and 'minutes' ....
anyhow regardless of birth time .. you have a couple of major transits on
(i can't type this and veiw chart at same time ..
so may be another one or two transits of importance ) the big backdrop is transiting Pluto conjunct your natal Mars ....
the other is transiting Saturn opposing ('opposition' aspect) your natal Moon anyhow .. i shall post a link where you can take a look at the transits ..
(and veiw the asc and mc and houses as 'hypothetical') Wtr.N.

I am tempted to comment on WaterNymph and HappyDragon "till you get sick and tired of their face"  I am tempted to use your comment literally, and share something I have read in various places while searching for a sub-topic of my own interest about soulmates. Recognition! You recognize those whom you have a connection with instantly, no doubt about that, but the person whom you are destined to have a connection with will look a lot like people whose features looked intriguing to you in the past prior to the meeting (no attraction, no connection to the people), just intrigued by the features. I have searched a lot and found my answers, the only explanation to this would be that your higher self is pointing you in that direction, and the person who is destined to be your soulmate have found similar features to yours intriguing to thier like as well...
You have known this person your whole life prior to the meeting, and kept recognizing him/her in the replicas until you have found the original. I don't think this applies to Companion, Karmic and Kindred Souls.Paying attention to the details and the so-called co-incidences which are not co-incidences at all is very important.

Neptunes Muse: I do not believe in coincedence. Everything happens for a reason. What might be at stake is the deffiniton of free will, and fate. Other sites and people with better academic backgrounds than I prostolitize about this. Are we largely in control? Or does fate deal the cards? Our reactions and perceptions are certainly our own. But when confronted on first meeting with someone that lights the candle, fuels our fire is karma. I feel now that maybe we haven't 'met' this person before but that the lesson was not ended, or, perhaps learned and absorbed.So we must go over that familiar territory again...untill we learn it.
