I have noticed something and well this may not be true for all and maybe you guys have not noticed but check this out. Have you ever noticed the combination in which the Zodiac runs in your family with either you and your mom or dad or you and your children and siblings. For instance I have two sons one is Leo the other is Pisces like me. I have noticed that with some families that you are either given a trine sign the opposite of you or in the planets where it really is serious you get the same thing. Like my oldest boys dad is an Aries I won't go and say that we squared but that was not a real good one but we has a Leo sun and well they both have Cancer moons. My lil one is a Pisces and his dad is a Virgo and well Pisces and Virgo opposite of each other we made another opposite of him and trine for me.. My mom is a Gem with a Cancer moon, I have a sister that is a Cancer and A sister that is a Aqua I have another sister that is Virgo but she has Gem in Merc. Me and mom don't really share alot BUT my dad is a Aqua and I have my moon, merc,venus and Asc in Aqua and I am really like him. My dad Aqua and my mom Gem..they trine. My mom's mom is an Aries and so is her dad My grandma has a taurus moon and my mom has Taurus in Venus and so does my Grandad. My aunt mom's sister is a Libra which is the opposite of the aries. But my mom is a Gem which trines her sister.. Think about whats in your family.. IP: Logged |

Personally, I don't remember my family's zodiac signs. All I remember was being taken away by Social Services when I was 8. I had no contact of my parents whatsoever. Before they took me, I was the child who wanted freedom, but my mom restricted me from doing that. I was mad. And I ran away from home 3 or 4 times because I hate being restricted. Then they took me from my mother and was sent to my aunt. My aunt was an abusive and an evil ***** (excuse my language) from hell. She abused me in the worse way because she said I was playing a mentally-retarded trick on her. I was 10. and I was scared. the school found out and I was out of the home. But they picked me up from school and put me into the foster care system.I think my mother (and her parents) use to argue a lot. I can hear them when I was younger. And they probably hate each other from time to time... ------------------

Hi Mia... Is'nt it a trip!? I love to utilize astrology this way... too cool!  I have been pondering the asteroids and the Nodes with regard to family ties. Have yet to put anything into complete understanding but, sooo interesting all of it is!! I love when it is made the subject of a string here, as I have a way of confusing everyone I talk to, about it, on the home front... but, it really does fascinate me.
What you have seen in your family unit, I can say is true in mine as well. My husband is a Libra, with a Pisces Moon and, Sag Ascending... Our son, he's an Aries... and it goes on and, on.....Then when the parents parents are added into all of it, it is sooo cool!!
I can't stay on at the moment but, I will be back soon. I love to see how the trees grow!

hELLO Mama Mia!There is a sort of pattern that i've noticed with my family as well! My mom is a Sagi Sun/Sagi Asc/Aqua Moon. She and I share Moons. My dad is an Aries Sun/Cap Asc/Cap Moon. Our Suns are opposed but we both have 4th house Suns. My brother is a Cancer Sun/Cancer Asc/Sagi Moon. His 1st house Sun makes him very Aries-like. Also, his Moon is conj my Mom's Sun. Me & my dad's 4th house Suns help us relate to his Cancer-ness hehe. My dad's mom, and 2 sisters are all Tauruses. My mom's mom is a Libra. All her kids are fire signs (including my mom!) I feel sorta left out cuz my mom, dad, and brother all have either a double whammy Sun-Asc or Asc-Moon! hehe  ------------------

Oh I could go on and on with this I did not even include my brothers who are Scorp and Sag. My sag brother Opposes my Gem mom and My Scorp broter trines me and My Cance sister he also has Mars in Pisces and My Aries gradmoether has Venus in Pisecs. ALso what I have noticed is all of my siblings Suns is in the 4th house even my moms my house is in the 1st. IP: Logged |

I think if we really start looking at all the aspects of synastry between charts of ourselves and people we are involved closely with that we would find alot of karmic stuff. Supposedly if we are reincarnated, we reincarnate with in the same groups of family and friends but I have noticed as you have the astrological implications. As pisces sun myself, my first born an aries sun with a pisces rising and pisces moon. my second born aqua sun compliments my huge aqua influenced birth chart, saturn, merc, jupiter and mars in aqua. my mom virgo, and i have alot of virgos in my life, opposite pisces. my grandparents who basically raised me, cancer grandpa and scorpio grandma. my brother's gemini sun compliments my aqua stuff. don't know about my dad. great observation mama!!!!!!!!IP: Logged |

yes...definitely. All of my father's children, including myself, have either water suns, cardinal suns, or both. He's a cancerMe-cancer sun

brother-capricorn sun
half brothers-aries suns(twins)
And all of my full siblings, who have the same mother as me, have mercurial moons. I have a virgo moon while the rest of them have gemini moons. My mother is a virgo sun.

My family is odd - my sister, mom, and dad are all Leo's. However my mom is actually a Leo/Cancer cusp and has some of the traits of both signs - which is perfect because she has one Cancer daughter and one Leo daughter. My sister has a Virgo moon too which is Trined my Taurus moon.IP: Logged |

DAD - PiscesBut check out the 6 kids (and man let me tell you now when I look back on it having two water parents was very stressful for me....) Brother 1 - Taurus
Brother 2 - Libra
Sis 1 - Gemini
Me- Gemini
Sis 2 - Aquarius
Brother 3 - Taurus So they had 2 Taurus Earth Boys, 1 Libra Air Boy, and 3 Air daughters. My sis who is a Gemini has a Scorpio moon and was very close to my mom. My two Taurus brothers are very very close to my Pisces Dad (my father's moon is TAURUS!! as is my VENUS). Since my mother died five years ago I have been quite close to my Dad and attribute this to my Pisces Chiron. I have no water in my chart except in Chiron and in Neptune Scorpio. IP: Logged |

I look at astrology and how our family interacts all the time...Dad: Taurus sun/Aquarius moon
Mom: Pisces sun/Gemini moon
Brother: Taurus sun/Libra moon
Sister: Leo sun/Aries moon
My son: Capricorn sun/Aries moon
Me: Sagittarius sun/Aquarius moon It's usually like oil and water for me and Taurus sun peeps, we each look at the other trying to understand each other but can't...lol, but interestingly, my father and I are VERY close and supportive of each other, no matter what. It must be our Aquarius moons, we're both very open to EVERYONE with an 'anything is possible just believe and you can do it' mentality. He taught me when I was younger, telling me: "You can do anything you want and put your mind to". I love him for that. My brother and I, well that's another story - it's like we're strangers in the same family. My mom and I, weren't really close, I was closer to my father, but she was sensitive and psychic and I am exactly like her very much in the emotional sense, and am her only child like her in that way. My sister and I, we get along very well, but are still so different. As for my grandparents, my father's parents, my grandmother was a Pisces and grandfather, Cancer, stepgrandfather, Scorpio (loved this man, never ever met someone so loving in my life). On my mother's side, my grandfather was a Sagittarius, grandmother, an Aries, stepgrandmother, Aquarius. I just realized everyone in my immed. family has moons in Air signs except my sister...no wonder we were all kind of polite and intellectual with each other...lol Laura oh, can't forget the pets...my dearest little kitty Winston was a Taurus...loved her too cool thread MM! I've noticed patterns too. My mom's side is very watery, especially with all the cancer placements. She has a cancer dad, brother and sister, and her brother's youngest son is a cancer. My sister has a cancer moon, and I have a cancer ascendant. I'm guessing my mother (a scorpio) has a cancer moon, but I don't know her birth date, just that she was born in november (terrible record keeping in Indian villages).My father's side has a fair bit of aqua. My dad has aqua rising, I have aqua moon, his father is a sun (and probably moon) aqua- he just has to be. And his other family members have some aqua influences too. You can see how the whole family mentality pans out with the collective placements. My mother's side is very security conscious, and make good money. Family is THE most important thing to them. Their houses are like tombs almost, they tend to hoard a lot of things. Most of them are great cooks. My mom 'just wants me to be happy'. My father's side puts priority on intellectualism and education. They are are VERY stubborn, and won't take anyone's advice. They tend to close themselves off to other people as well. My dad is a genius at work (uranus in the 6th like me), and his father has jaw dropping insights, but they're very impractical at times. The star of david configuration seems to run in my moms side of the family. Bizarre no? I didn't even think to look to see if there were any patterns in my family untill this thread. My mothers family seems to be restricted to only five sun signs Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, Leo,and Gemini. My fathers side of the family looks to be only Libra, Gemini,SCORPIO,Pisces and Sagittarius. Me sun Gemini/ moon aries / AC virgo / NN Taurus

My dad's side is extremely Leo/Aquarian like. My mom's side is extremely Sagittarian.
However I did notice a pattern...
my dad's chart is like
Ascendant Leo
Sun Taurus
Moon Leo
Mercury Taurus
Venus Cancer
Mars Cancer
Jupiter in Scorpio
my sister's chart is
Asc Gemini
Sun Gemini
Moon Libra
Merc Taurus
Venus Cancer
Mars Cancer
Jupiter in Leo
their Merc/Venus/Mars are all in the same sign which I find very interesting because my sister's sun is in the 12th house, her and my father think they have absolutely nothing in common. So they never talk, when in reality, they have more in common than they think. My mother's chart.. Asc in Cancer
Sun in Capricorn
Moon in Gemini
Merc in Capricorn
Venus in Sagittarius
Mars in Sagittarius
Jupiter in Sagittarius
Saturn in Capricorn
Uranus in Leo
Neptune in Scorpio
Pluto in Virgo
The only water & air she has in her chart are in my sister and I's signs. Not to say that's not common, but all of my mother's Sag placements are conj. my Saturn/Uranus. ALl of her Capricorn placements are conj. my Neptune. Neptune is an earth singleton in my chart (it's in Capricorn). Her Neptune is a water singleton as well (Scorpio) and conj. my Sun/Venus/Pluto.
Her Moon is also a air singleton (Gemini) and conj. my sister's Sun and ASC. My sister identifies most closely with my mother, I think it's that Gemini Moon being conj. my sister's Sun and ASC. I get along with both parents, I suppose. My father and I have power struggles up the a$$ but we share the same Moon. Idk where I'm going with this but i think that tie between my sis and dad's chart is quite fascinating. IP: Logged |

My dad and brother are in opposing signs ( both my father's parents were in the opposite sign to my dad), my mother is square my brother, while her sun is opposite his moon ( while her parents were square and opposing her), I'm trine my father, while my moon is opposite my mums sun and moon. so yes I do think there is a definate pattern.
