Pick a song to describe every part of your chart or just the parts you choose...

example:

Moon in Leo (10th house) - "That Girl" -Lindsay Lohan
"..armed with an attitude that she knows how to use- she's gonna get there any way she can. now she knows what she wants &no one is gonna stop her. nothing's ever gonna hold her down. for all the doubters, non-believers the cynical that once were dreamers...one of these days you'll know that you were wrong..

that girl was a one time teenage drama queen..a hot, tough everyday wannabee but she'll have changed her destiny. now she's a somebody..that girl was a wild child dreamer but she'll find herself cause she believes in nothin' else and you'll look back and you won't believe..that girl was me"..

you can include lyrics if you want.

------------------
Libra Rising, Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon

ANYWHERE IS by Enya...

here are part on the long and involved lyrics:

"To leave the thread of all time
And let it make a dark line
In hopes that I can still find
The way back to the moment
I took the turn and turned to
Begin a new beginning
Still looking for the answer
I cannot find the finish
It's either this or that way
It's one way or the other
It should be one direction
It could be on reflection
The turn I have just taken
The thurn that I was making
I might be just beginning
I might be near the end"

CANCER SUN, SAG RISING, CANCER MOON, GEMINI MERCURY, GEMINI JUPITER, GEMINI CUSP OF SEVENTH HOUSE, CAPRICORN SATURN NEPTUNE AND URANUS ALL RETROGRADE IN FIRST HOUSE, LEO MARS AND VENUS IN EIGHT AND NINTH HOUSES, MOON IN EIGHTH HOUSE, SCORPIO PLUTO IN TWELFTH HOUSE, SUN IN SEVENTH HOUSE...NORTH NODE IN AQUARIUS IN THIRD HOUSE.

the Gemini really trips me up the most...and for some reason I think that Aquarius does some interesting things as well.

Neat qeustion!

yes...

well, my chart remains a mystery to me for the most part, but i do have a rudimentary understanding.....

so here's what i come up with ~

Tears From the Moon
Conjure One

Couldn't sleep so I went out walking
Thinking about you and hearing us talking
And all the things I should have said
Echo now, inside my head

I feel something falling from the sky
I'm so sad I made the angels cry

Tears from the moon
Fall down like rain
I reach for you
I reach in vain

Tears from the moon, tears from the moon

It just ain't fair this thing called loving
When one step there and the other feels nothing
I would have done anything for you
I still love you, baby I adore you

All day I keep from falling apart
But at night when the sky gets dark

Tears from the moon
Fall down like rain
I reach for you
I reach in vain

Stop, Stop haunting me
It should be easy
As easy as when you stopped wanting me

Tears from the moon
Fall down like rain
I reach for you
I reach in vain

Tears from the moon
Fall down like rain
but tears from the moon
can't wash away the pain

Tears from the moon, tears from the moon
Tears from the moon, tears from the moon

in a communicating, feeling, perceiving, expressing...etc, etc...sense...

here's my chart...commentary welcome...

natal salome

.. choice 'a' lyrics not to be found .. yet ..
.. this be by the same band .. so choice 'b'
.. for my Sun placement ..
.. all aspects lead there .. in the end ..

"Heaven Can Be Anywhere"

Somewhere there's got to be
Someplace where you and me
Can get away from this noise and worry

Just you and me alone
There'd be no telephone
We'd never be in a hurry

Just a hill with some tall trees
Where a creek comes bubblin' by
Mingling with the green of the grass and the blue of the sky

I'd never go away
We'd just spend every day
Livin' out the dream that we've been savin'

Anyone who'd see up
Sure would like to be us
Just for the mem'ries we're making

But I guess that would be Heaven and I don't really care
'Cause while we're dreamin, baby
You don't have to wonder maybe
Heaven can be anywhere as long as you're there

even .. .. in a cowshed .. ??

This is a tough one, but I've found a reasonable song for myself. Remember I'm a Cap Sun with three planets in Sag in Libra-ruled 7th House. I've also got a Gemini Ascendant and Saturn in the 1st.

Get The Balance Right by Depeche Mode

There's more besides joyrides
A little house in the countryside
Understand, learn to demand,
Compromise, and sometimes lie

Get the balance right, get the balance right

Be responsible, respectable,
Stable but gullible
Concerned and caring, help the helpless (Aqua Midheaven)
But always remain ultimately selfish

Get the balance right, get the balance right

You think you've got a hold of it all
You haven't got a hold at all
When you reach the top, get ready to drop
Prepare yourself for the fall, you're gonna fall
It's almost predictable
(Almost)

Don't turn this way, don't turn that way
Straight down the middle until next Thursday
Reverse to the left, then back to the right (My Mutable lack of attention/focus)
Twist and turn 'til you've got it right

Get the balance right, get the balance right

virgo sun/fire stellium/aries moon/aqua rising

MAGNETIC fields-
"all the umbrellas in london"

if i make it tonight it'll be all right
it'll make a good song or something
i've been trying to give myself reasons to live
and i really can't think of one thing

i drive around, i walk around in circles
'cause i've got no sense of direction
and i guess i've got no sense at all

[chorus:]
all the umbrellas in london couldn't stop this rain
and all the dope in new york couldn't kill this pain
and all the money in tokyo couldn't make me stay
all the umbrellas in london couldn't stop this rain

i don't cry anymore, i go out the door
and i usually keep on walking
i will sit in the bar where the cocktails are
but i really don't feel like talking

i lie around and let the darkness fall
'cause i've got a sense of perfection
and nothing makes much sense at all

My chart is totally Pink Floyd.

It swings between Wall's "Nobody Home", "Is there anybody out there" and "Wall" with regular doses of 'Dark Side of the Moon's "Breathe" and "Time" with a smattering of "Division Bell".
My epitaph would probably be the lyrics of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" set to the music of "Interstellar Overdrive".

Billions and billions of s to all Pink Floyd fans like you HippiChick.
Well, none of Animals yet but I guess its a matter of when and not if
BTW, if you did not know this already [and dont get angry with me for assuming that you did not know this], there is a perfect synchronicity of "Dark Side of the Moon" with the 1930s movie "Wizard of Oz" *ing Judy Garland. The pyramid splitting the seven rays adds to the mystique of this amazing album which I think was a sort of "Chakra" message revealed through those 4 magicians.

Iqhunk, yes, I have heard about the Wizard of Oz, thing. Acutally a surgeon who I work with told me about it! How does it go, exactly, something about starting the album when lion roars a 3rd time??? I love your symbolism with the prism.
See you on the dark side of the moon!!!

This link has all the info. Mind boggling, it could not have been done deliberately as there were no computers and graphical software back then.
http://www.rareexception.com/Garden/Floyd/Floyd.php

It gets all the more intriguing when the movie Matrix 1 has Cipher telling Neo before his escape "It means fasten your seat belts Dorothy, because Kansas is going bye bye", an allusion to escape of the soul from false reality; and so many internet conspiracy theories about the dark side of the moon having an alien artifact or base like "2001 Space Odyssey", plus that album being the Guiness Record holder for most popular one yet it is rarely advertized in mass consumerist labels, soooooooooo many connections and I have still not figured out the actual meaning!

hippi & Og ~

Do you have PF's Obscured by Clouds?? Got's one of the prettiest songs I've ever heard -- "Wot's...Uh...the Deal".....

I dunno, tho, Og -- my 9yo son says deprecatingly when I'm listening to PF Live '89 "MOM! Are you listening to that space music AGAIN?!?!?"

Aries Sun Sag Rising (you asked for it )

Brass In Pocket The Pretenders

I got brass in pocket
Got bottle, I'm gonna use it.
Intention
I feel inventive,
Gonna make you, make you, make you notice
Got motion, restrained emotion.
I been driving uh, Detroit leaning.
No reason, just seems so pleasing.
Gonna make you, make you, make you notice
Gonna use my arms,
Gonna use my legs,
Gonna use my style,
Gonna use my side-step-
Gonna use my fingers.
Gonna use my, my, my, imagination.
Cause I going make you see-- there's nobody else here
No one like me.
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me!
I got rhythm, I can't miss a beat.
I got-a new skank so reet.
Got something. I'm winking at you,
Gonna make you, make you notice.
Gonna use my arms,
Gonna use my legs,
Gonna use style,
Gonna use my sidestep
Gonna use my fingers, gon' use my my my imagination.
Oh .. cause I gonna make you see
there's nobody else here, no one like me.
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me!
'Cause I gonna make you see
there's nobody else here, no one like me,
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me.
Ooooooooo, when you walk

HD wrote <<for the grand cross blue days .. it's PFs' .. 'comfortably numb' .. live and loud ..>>
The song just starts playing in the head automatically during such times....

Zala, I have not heard Obscured, must get hold of that. Give your son another 5-6 years and then he will appreciate it.
I nearly threw out the tape of Wall and "Relics" when I was 10 and when I turned 15, I had to listen daily, like a drug addict!
