So, I'm an 8. I was born on the 26th (2+6=8). What is interesting is what I was thinking about with regard to this and astrology. It said 4 and 8 play out the most fatalistic Karma roles (or something to that extent). 4 and 8 are said to be incredibly bad for one another, but always drawn to one another. In astrology, the 4 correlates to Cancer. I have dated a few Cancers, and attracted a ton of Cancers as friends and acquaintances of the years. No Cancerian relationship ever worked, and they always hurt the most of any break ups. (It's interesting to note that I'm attracted to Cancers despite a Virgo Moon and a Sag Venus. Most people are fairly reliably into their Moon or Venus sign in my studies.)(It's also interesting, and a little creepy that the woman I'm currently with is a 4 herself being born on the 22nd.)

The book says that in order to somewhat neutralize the effect of the 8 I should change everything to 6. Six correlates to Virgo, my Moon. I've only come close to asking out a Virgo once, and I don't think I really had a chance. She was also under the Cancerian spell. This is an interesting proposition, because I should be into Virgos, but I've never really been able to get close to one. I do find them attractive, though.

Finally, 8s can increase their financial security and stability by accepting the full responsibilities of the 8, and using more 8s in their lives. It's supposed to be a life full of Karmic burden or something. 8, of course, correlates with Scorpio, and is the house of my Sun and Jupiter. Ever since meeting all the wonderful Scorps here I've wanted the chance to date one to see how it goes.
