It is often said that Squares can be good in the right measure when it comes to Synastry, it creates needed tension and challenges.

But what about in a Composite? Is there a way to think of Square's in that instance? Thanks.

Squares in composite operate in the same way that they do in natal charts. They indicate obstacles to energy flow. The difference in the two (natal, composite) is that nothing can be changed in the composite aspect, no growth of the relationship energy can take place. Therefore its a matter of understanding the obstacles and deciding if you want to live with them.

Thanks. That's kind of where I was leaning. The Composite is a house where the architecture is permanent. You either live with that dark corner, or don't. You can't knock the wall down or install a skylight (unless it's less than 13' 3/4" X 13' 13/16").

*massive attempts to brighten up the dark corner*

Skylights are nice, but they can leak over time, especially if you live in a rainier climate.

Like a rainforest.

Think of it as choosing a place to live. Can you put up with the rain in Washington State, the cold winters in Iowa, the hot weather in Az, etc.. These factors are not changable by you or anyone else, you have to deside if you're willing to live with the weather where you want to live; If for other reasons, its worth it to you.

Hmmmm... yup .... I see's what'choos sayin' ...

It wasn't meant to be ...

PS: The dark corner was 5 Composite Squares to Venus. Although in Synastry there was emphasis on working things out and stability, there wasn't any growth. Nothing was being built. Unless the construction workers are temporarily on strike...
