This is to all you guys...

We Pisces are all evolving here or trying to I see. It is our bday time coming up so there will be a break though headed our way. I have been reading post from Pisces and how we feel about certain things ect.ect.

We are so bendable and we almost always put others emotional needs in front of our own, its just our nature to do so. So what happens in the end. Szzzzzzz we are burned. So I am taking a pleadge to focus totally on me. May sound selfish but that is how it is going to be for right now..Me,me,me all day everyday for awhile.

So I dare all the other wounded souls to take a deep deep look inside and focus on you and see what happens. I know that this won't be permanent cause I love to help and nuture but just while the sun is in Pisces I am going to do that..

Lets see how this goes..

And this is for anyone that feels they give alot and get the short end of the stick. If youdo this let me know how you feel, I will keep an update to.. Mama..

Hey fellow water signs,
I really do think we think too much. Sometimes I think we 'think-give' more than we actually give.

The thing is its OK to not give when you dont feel like it. People will be taken aback cos they are so used to all the love. But u can only do as much as u can. And its more than OK to give to urself it is not a selfish thing to do and most of all, it is not a big deal. You count too.

People are mean and they can be all kinds of wonderful. You only have to look inside urself to see all u are capable of.

A friend of mine recently told me to stop being surprised, when I told her how sad I get that people are like this and that. Things are the way they are and no amount of idealism is going to change that.

Y'all should probably meditate on the mantra 'No more drama'every morning. I do and it works wonders.

A well deserved break.
We know where it is at and what we are capable of, just a break............

Good MM, have lots of happiness and love.
Sigh, I am not sure Yes, many times I put others needs, at the same time I sometimes see myself selfish or not done lot to help others Maybe, spending lots of time for myself alone, instead of being/spending it with my family, is making me selfish.
Anyways all of you have a nice time and develop the immunity to all kinds of scars and wounds that we get by being in this world.

Yeah, I guess something is in the air lol sky, that all Pisces are going through something in their life

Another Pisces here with a bday coming up very soon.

MM said <<And this is for anyone that feels they give alot and get the short end of the stick. If youdo this let me know how you feel, I will keep an update to.. Mama..>>

Why do it just for this month ... while the sun is in your sign? Try it on for size pervasively, rather than just for a month.

How come? Because learning to give for the sake of "just giving" rather than giving to get is a wonderful gift to give yourself! If you feel that you're getting the short end of the stick due to your giving nature, try a pervasive perception change. Give to give with no expectations. If you have no expectations, you won't ever feel like you're getting short-ended. Nor will you be denying your Pisces nature. You'll still be the giver. However, you simply change your perception and expectations of what you hope or want to get as a result of your giving.

Believe me, it takes time and conscious effort to make this shift. But, once practiced with conscious effort ... it starts becoming much more natural over time. I'm a much more "grounded Pisces" (ha, nope ...that's not an oxymoron ... it can be done!) than I used to be.

Dagnveg,
Yes a grounded pisces is an oxymoron, but if we do not find some groundedness then......
Hear your words, but I think the more "evolved" fishes give "Just because" but still we need a break because...

We are all human..

Living this life,

Fishes in spirit

Human in form....

Yes everything I do is from the heart, that is the only kit I work out of,but still their are ppl out here that will drain you of that, mistake your kindness for a weakness and play on it and have you trying to change who you are. I will never do that change who I am, but I am up for a break you can bet that..

As a being who is a vessel of human suffering and experience (as I like to think of it in my more grandiose moments), there is always a limit to how much you can contain.

We must not forget that we are here to evolve ourselves as well. If the two conflict to an unmanageable degree, the balance needs to be shifted for all parties.

After all, a broken vessel is useless to everyone.

Yes....all of you Pisces-influenced folks would do well with a break to focus on yourselves for a change.

I dare say that with Uranus transiting in your special house, many of you will be up for changes interiorly as well as exteriorly. Focusing on yourself is the best way to maintain your ability to continually give to others! (Just remember to 'give' to the source-YOU!)

My wish for all Pisces-influenced is that you attract a special person in your life who will emotionally meet your needs, support you in the way you support them and most importantly, give back to you in the same unselfish way in which you yourself give!

Keep your standards high guys and gals...and believe that your dreams will come true if you want them bad enough!!

And always, always...Trust in your Intuition to guide you!!

GemStar

PS-Happy V-Day!!

Mama Mia,

You said:

There is a theory in astrology that states that the lesson for each sign is in the sign that follows it. So the lesson for Pisces is...Aries (being). Simply being and experience yourself FOR yourself can be a life-enhancing experience for many Pisces. Remember, if you give yourself completely away there will be no one there when people come to you asking for help!

Pisceanly,

Tim

Wow, Tim, I must say ... I think my heart skipped a beat when I read that. Though I've never heard that theory before ... it completely makes sense.

Case in point, a couple of years ago, I started delving into reading and studying eastern religion and philosophies, particularly Buddhism (consequently, this was also right after my Saturn Return ended, as well as ending a 4-yr live-in relationship).

By no means I'm a "practicing Buddhist!" It was just something that I wanted to explore, learn from, and apply certain attributes to my life. Buddhism offers tools for dealing with life. It is a way of trying to understand the individual that we are, and how we relate to the people and world around us.

In other words, a lesson in just BEING.

Exactly what you said above regarding Pisces lesson is in the sign that follows it, Aries.

I didn't even realize, at the time, that that was what I was doing (attempting to learn the lesson of Aries). But, alas, it makes sense.

Happily "just being,"

i have an excellent book that elaborates on this theme of just 'being'...in the sense that we are perfect just as we are, we simply need to let go of all the 'illusions' that cloud our true selves....

written by Pema Chodron, called Start Where You Are...it's a treatise on 'how we can "start where we are"--embracing rather than denying the painful aspects of our lives.'

Pema Chodron is a buddhist monk and is the director of Gampo Abbey in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia...an interesting and compelling lady.

some of her thoughts ~

quote:
When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space.

and

People get into a heavy-duty sin and guilt trip, feeling that if things are going wrong, that means that they did something bad and they are being punished. That's not the idea at all. The idea of karma is that you continually get the teachings that you need to open your heart. To the degree that you didn't understand in the past how to stop protecting your soft spot, how to stop armoring your heart, you're given this gift of teachings in the form of your life, to give you everything you need to open further.

and

There's a reason you can learn from everything: you have basic wisdom, basic intelligence, and basic goodness.

love, salome

What a cool thread...as a total giver and water sign and Pisces moon I can relate...I'm also interested in the lesson in the sign that follows. So what is the lesson in Sagittarius??
