Node,I think I understand now! I'll play!
More planets below chart than above - focuses on inner world more than outer
Same number of planets on left and right - switches focus between self and others
Most planets on the bottom left of chart - uses what he knows about self to focus on his inner world
Chart pattern:
Bucket chart
From Tracy Marks' "The Art of Chart Interpretation:"
Bowl pattern - "All planets fall within 180 degrees (or a maximum of 190 degrees) and on one side of an opposition, and no more than 60 degrees or two houses of the occupied portion of the chart are empty..."
Bucket pattern - "...a bowl pattern with a handle...a planet or two closely conjunct planets at least 30 degrees from the planets within the bowl...channels...[their] energy through the handle of the bucket. The sign and house position of this singleton or focal planet usually indicates the kind of energy this person most frequently expresses and the area of life through which... [they] seek satisfaction."
Jupiter (expansion, also wisdom) is energy of bucket - energy expressed is emotional (Cancer) and area of life is about friendship and innovation (11th house)
Aspect patterns:
Kite
Kite focused on Pluto (tranformation) conjunct (energy is combined with) Uranus (friends, also innovation) focused in first house (being) - focused on innovative transformation of who he is
T-square
T-square if focused on Gemini (thinking) modifying Midheaven (outer world) - indicates a person who thinks about the outer world
Yod
Yod focused on Aquarius (friends, also innovation) modifying Sun (self-expression) focused in the 6th house (daily work) - expresses himself through daily innovations
Mystic Rectangle
Mystic Rectangle between the Nodes - connects him easily between his past (South node) and his future goals (North node)
Other:
Fate Degree
Libra (relationships) modifying Mars (being, also action) in a fate degree (strong energy) in the 2nd house (physical, also values) near the 3rd house (thinking) - actions need to be continually "balanced" out according to values and ideas
Retrograde planets (strong energy)
Jupiter (expansion, also wisdom)
Pluto (transformation)
Uranus (friends, also innovation)
Charting,
Tim
