Hello!-

I need a lil' help ... pleeze!!

I'm torn, I don't know what to do, I can't continue with my career (International Relations), 'cause it feels like a burden- yet, at the same time, I have 2 years left- so it will be a real pity to quit it in the middle-

Besides I don't know what else I can do- though I'm fond of Astrology, Philosophy and Languages-

What do you think!?- should I continue with my career (only 2 years left) or should I try something new??-

Red,

With 3 planets focused in the 9th house (expansion, also travel, wisdom, international), International Relations makes sense as a focus. With 2 planets focused in the 11th house (friends, also other people's self-expression), you want a career that involves helping others in some way.

When we suddenly feel "burdened" about "career", it makes sense to look at the energy of both "burdens" and "career"...Saturn (duty, also career, restriction). In your case, transiting Saturn is beginning to conjunct (energy is combined with) your birth Sun (self-expression). When Saturn combines with our Sun we can feel burdened and restricted in our self-expression in some way. There can be a feeling of frustration with our career choice, or a sense of personally not being "worthy" of the choices we have made. The challenge is to accept the feelings of doubt, and move ahead as best we can.

As you put it so well, you only have 2 years left. After those 2 years are over you will have the ability to do a career that fits your energy very well. And isn't that a worthy goal to pursue...and put up with feeling a little "burdened" for awhile?

Unburdening,

Tim

transiting Neptune square natal Mars .. 0.08 .. separating
transiting Jupiter conjoins natal Mc and Mars .. half a degree ..

transiting Chiron trine N.Node .. half a degree .. separating

You have Neptune at your ascendant, so your self-image is unsettled. This is a time for daydreaming about what you could do, might do, etc. It is a time for "trying on" new roles.
It is NOT a time for making any major decisions like changing your career. You are in no condition to make a good choice right now. Next year, maybe.

Thxs a bunch for replying!!!

Wow... everything you said is SO true:

"With 3 planets focused in the 9th house, International Relations makes sense as a focus. With 2 planets focused in the 11th house, you want a career that involves helping others in some way."

I love travelling- and I'd love to help the world become a better place. I feel more than happy when helping other people.

"When Saturn combines with our Sun we can feel burdened and restricted in our self-expression in some way. There can be a feeling of frustration with our career choice"

I felt exactly this way. I felt frustrated with my career choice. I started to think that it would not fulfill therefore it would make me unhappy.

I should look at the bright side!. You are right, the effor will be worth it. I should finish my studies!!-

I know I tend to scatter my energies...I love starting new things, but sometimes I don't have enough discipline to finish them-lol

I'll have to work on that

Thanks again Tim.

I said I couldn't continue with it, 'cause it felt like a VERY heavy burden- Last year I suffered a lot, because I couldn't concentrate for the exams, and didn't want to go to classes- 'cause I felt that this career was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I almost send everything to hell- though I didn't.

I was afraid that this year the same would happen- and have a new "career crisis"-

I'm feeling better now though, and will go on with it

Rev.Alice

Yes!, I found myself daydreaming a lot about what I should or might do.

Thxs for your advice!- I'll not make any mayor decision by now.

Best wishes
