Was looking to ask advice on my reoccuring problem of being inconsistent at work.

What happens is that i'll have a period of working very intensely, quickly and well, then i'll knock myself back again by the next moment being all lazy and distracted.

It's not like bosses and the like can be there all the time to 'nanny' me and give me pressing deadlines (which i tend to respond well to!) so i'm wondering how else i can get my energy a bit more under control. Ebbs and flows are all very well, but this really is a bit much!

It's all too easy to blame this tendency on retro Mars in Gemini in the 12th, which must not help with these erratic and mis-directed energies (the tendency to start about three things at once, for instance! ) .. but i wondered if anyone else would care to take a look at the chart and see what they can see..

... or indeed offer advice on using this jitteriness in a more positive way, even more so if they have something similar in their own chart...?

(a good example for instance is that i'm writing this now whilst trying to finish something importnat at work. D'OH!)

The problem is such that I'm even starting to wonder if i'm in the wrong job (animator) - even tho i love it!

Most of what you said sounds spot-on (not so sure about being overly intelligent, but there's a decent dose of intuition there i guess) ..

And yeah, i reckon that Mars *is* driving me nuts.. it's constantly arguing with me practical Cappy/6th house side - always had 'easily distracted on my school reports, and it seems like it might be getting worse as i get older too!

Am definitely interested in *anything* folk might have to say about the chart (i'm not familiar with Chiron, and the nodes, for instance), but also wondering what a good outlet might be for that Mars... apart from exercise, and those stress-reliving toys for busy hands! Or what, when at work, would ensure it stays focused (apart from self-discipline).

Thanks very much for replying, it's put a spring in me step, as i was feeling a bit down about it all earlier. But just one person replying and saying 'Hi! Actually, yeah, that placement *does* look a pain in the ass!' can slap a smile back on yer face, and encourage you to do something about it!
