Does any one know what a person(me-Cancerian) has to learn from people with Virgo mooon. I keep attracting partners ...with Moon in Virgo. Its definately a pattern and until i learn from it i ASSUME that i will keep attracting these "over-critical" creatures into my life.

BTW what sign are you? My mom has virgo moon and rising; so I'm quite aware of this influence. Don't take everything they say to seriously (being over critical and all). I've learned this the hard way I used to take my mom way to literally, now I've evaluated her reasoning with my astrological knowledge. Luckily my mom has Gemini sun so I somehow manage to get along with her!

Yeah don’t take it too seriously beside anything they say is only going to be the truth - unless they’re malicious - So it’s not all bad. I often have inner battles on whether I should be honest or lie to be nice. At the end of the day, it’s easier to trust someone who’s harshly honest

Is your north node Virgo? Do you have Virgo anywhere in your chart? Just curious

btw Welcome

I have a Virgo Moon, but I'm fairly self-controlled. I don't generally let my tongue get the best of me. In fact, there are a lot of times where I wish that I'd just let myself say what's on my mind, but I don't. I just grit my teeth and go about my business.

It's seemed to me that patterns or not, Virgo moon has to understand it isn't Virgo sun. Meaning that this moon position has a hard time not domineering a person awkwardly thinking that it has to respond to all these patterns and ettiqute. It's a moon, and it better well act like it too. It's there to be the subtle thing right UNDER, not over, conscious thought.

That, and if you want to sleep you've just gotta stop listening to the thing. It'll just keep on talking and keep you up all night

I have a virgo moon and I'm not overcritical. If someone's doing a bad job I'll be honest and tell them but I won't nag about it.

8Bit,

I don't find my Virgo Moon overriding anything. I hardly notice it there at all. In fact, I feel it's house more than I feel it's sign.

*tsk tsk*

thanks everyone for your input! Ya i try not to take everything so personally that these people say to me but i guess "constructive critisism" is a good thing if you learn from it. They(Virgo moon people) seem to think they know everything about everything.! lol. I am Cancer(no planets in Virgo) MOON IN PISCES..MERCURY IN CANCER.. AQUARIUS ASC. thank you everyone for your comments!

It's true that my last Cancer girlfriend also had that complaint about me being a know-it-all.

I think that perhaps it's that you'd prefer yourself to be right, rather than acknowledge that someone else may have a point.

Oooohhh, ouch! Sun in Cancer, Moon in Virgo and this statement struck right in the heart...very true as much as I'd like to deny it...

I know a handful of people with this placement, all air signs.

They (the ones I know) are not especially critical,
but very humble and grounded.

I agree, they do seem emotionally repressed,
but, like I said, they are air signs, so....

One of my ex's had a Virgo moon and Virgo ascendant and he was very critical. I learned not to take most of it personally, but I am a Cancer so it did frustrate me sometimes. He was also highly repressed emotionally and rarely let his feelings show which is what ultimately ended our relationship.

Maybe there is Cancer connection with Virgo moons? If there is a reason for this then I'd sure be interested in knowing what that meant!

Love

It's simple... what you have to learn from a person with moon in Virgo is LOVE. They are there to help you in many ways. Ways that you may not know yet. A person who is emotionally repressed can often handle very hot emotional situations with clear thought and objectivity; to stand back and be objective when all the emotional mess around you seems to overwhelme and confuse you. A moon in Virgo person (Sun or Ascendant)can, and often does, help those who are emotionally overwhemled. Which, if you are true to your sun sign, means that at some point in your life you may need the 'cool' helping hand of a kind and helpful moon in Virgo person to help clear up the mess that you or a situation has made. This is one of the reasons why a Virgo is not afraid of the Scorpion or the emotional intensity of water signs. The intense passion can be viewed with objectivity, we don't get 'involved'. Virgo's have been placed on this planet to HELP, to be of service. Use our service! It will make us happy. If we know you LOVE us, we won't aim our critical abilities at you, we will help you, support you and in a round about way, give you the emotional security you so desparately need.

------------------
Welcome all, good buddies. Be friendly and I'll be nice.
