Hello!!-Does any of you girls dated a guy with Venus in the 12th house??- My ex b/f has that placement- btw he is a Virgo with Libra Moon and Libra ASC. Venus in Virgo also. One of the things that made me end the relationship, was that he had SO much trouble expressing his love and affection. He was cold and shy- specially when we were in public places or with other people. I wonder if this has to do with the 12th house and Venus- Any thoughts appreciated-  IP: Logged |

Well I have Venus in the 12th and I am not shy about expressing my feelings, but Iam female so...but I have it in Aqua BUT I have Pisces sun so see it is a toss with me.. IP: Logged |

Well, I too have Venus in the 12th and I am sooooo the opposite of cold and detached, however, I am a female but the men I have known with that placement tend to have a hard time with feelings sometimes; unable to express themselves and very good at detaching themselves from feelings.
The 12th house is a karmic house, no? So I would think it' maybe about working through those issues.....????IP: Logged |

Hi Mama Mia and Love-Thxs for your comments! So you girls are the opposite that I describe!- Love- what you mention about men with this placement having a hard time with feelings, in my ex's case is totally true. I think that the sign that Venus is in, has a lot to do with the expression of feelings also -and in Virgo- the person tends to be reserved, shy and not very comfortable with big displays of love. Oh you're right about the 12th house considered a Karmic house. I can tell you that this guy has a big karma with love- ! but he still hasn't learned the lesson...lol

i have venus in gemini the 12th, and i can tell you, i am exactly as you described him.and i'm a female...so i don't think it has to do with gender. but yeah his venus in virgo could take part in that too. well when you said, "he person tends to be reserved, shy and not very comfortable with big displays of love." -i'm only like when i'm not comfortable (like when i don't know someone very well....i'm usually very affectionate. wow my ex has a venus in 12th in taurus and he was far from cold and shy- if anything- he was very affectionate, let everyone know how he felt about me(public display of affection)...he would say how he felt- if anything- he was very needy....he has a stellium of 12th house planets too....IP: Logged |

Taurean_Scorpion,Hehe, nice nick  - so you identified with the way I described him. And shop22much, Your ex has that position and was far from cold and shy. I'm a bit lost here...  lol, I was thinking that the aspects that venus make with other planets should be taken into consideration to see also if the way Venus expresses love is "constrained" by a hard aspect or so. Re-viewing his chart, I found that his venus is bad aspected, receiving a square from Neptune and a square from Jupiter both in the 3rd house. Well, whatever..., I'm starting to wonder, why the heck I'm analyzing my ex's chart???-jeez... I better find something else to do than "reviving" our story... LOL
