Hi mysticme ~

Transiting Pluto is at 26 Sagittarius today -- so her natal Pluto must be at 26 Virgo (couldn't be 26 Pisces since Pluto hasn't seen Pisces for over 100 years ).....

Yours is out-of-orb to my mind -- I usually allow only 6 degrees orb for squares.....

I have tPluto exactly sextiling nSun, squaring nMoon, and opposing nJupiter. Aaaaaaagggghhhh!!!!

Skoal! Hey what about this one sneaking up on you??

quote:
Neptune Transits in Aspect to Natal Jupiter:
Jupiter is your optimism. Neptune is dreams, yes, but it is also delusions. Take great care not to let this one run away with you. It is obviously Not the best time to visit a casino or become a day trader. Strange religious cults may seem more attractive to you now. Watch out. You’re more inclined with this transit to view the big picture. First, make sure it’s a picture of something real. Next, be extra careful to take care of those little details that seem so dull right now. As always, the smooth aspects (sextile and trine) tend to work out with fewer problems. Don’t forget to check out the house that Jupiter is in and the house that it rules (the one with Sagittarius on the cusp). For instance, if Sagittarius is on the cusp (beginning) of the 11th House (friends, hopes, and wishes) you will tend to attract people who are either idealistic, spaced-out, or con artists. You will also start to think more about your hopes and wishes. Be careful that this doesn’t cause you to neglect the details of day-to-day living.

Neptune is at just about 18 Aquarius today -- your Jupiter is at 19 Leo: I mean your opposition.....

I have Neptune sq Mercury coming up later this spring -- please tactfully ignore whatever blather may come out of my mouth!! And I'll have Neptune trine Neptune coming up after that -- can you say "FOG" ?!?!?

Hope next week goes better for you.....

Zala... I do pay attention.. and always find your posts to be brilliant....
In your quote it said to look at what house jupiter is in.. and whatever house Sag is on the cusp of... Sag is on my 11th house cusp..and jupiter is in the 9th now... both these houses are empty in my natal.. except my SN in the 9th libra on the cusp... so what would be the significance of jupiter in the 9th.... with this delusional transit... Neptune is hard on me in my natal... only if you have the time... Thanks

Have we hijacked mysticme’s thread, or are we on-topic?!? I guess since we are talking about transits – do you mind mm74??

Lovely – Libra on/in the 9th!! What a great position ;-) My handy-dandy Noel Tyl sez “Libra on IX – Humanitarian; relaxed view of the social order; idealized concept of justice. With Scorpio also incorporated into that house (tJupiter at almost 19 Scorpio right now) I think there would be will be additional watery depth for you in the fiery 9th house of philosophy/religion/long journeys of the body/mind/spirit, questions about the whys and wherefores of existence, the faculty of abstraction and the intuitive process (I didn’t write that stuff, Howard Sasportas did). Jupiter is transiting the house it rules – a great opportunity for you that happens only every 12 years….. to “expand” on 9th house issues with the challenging energy of Neptune in the mix…..

Why is it you say that Neptune is hard on you in your natal?? In the 3rd?? Me too. Did you see Liz Greene’s interp of Neptune in III that I posted awhile back?? Let’s see if I can find it…..

mm74 ~

You asked about the New Moon – do you have yourself set up at astro.com?? It depends on where the Moon is in your 12th house….. for example, my Moon is at 26 Pisces in the 8th. Since the New Moon occurs at 9 Pisces, it will fall in my 7th. Since New Moons mean new starts, perhaps this will mean new friendships/relationships, or changes in the levels of old friendships/relationships. Did you read the New Moon article here?? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008419.html I still have a lot to learn about Lunar Returns (am reading John Townley’s book on it now) so I won’t get into that…..

Look thru this thread for how to make New Moon Wishes: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005545.html

More interesting reading here: http://www.moonspells.com/ie/Nmoon/NM_7th.html

As for my Pluto sq Pluto, I don’t remember much more than the high points of the years (approx) 1983-1995….. had several multi-year relationships, changed jobs, studied astro and plants (I went nuts about houseplants at that time ), and in 1992 when Pluto was applying, 4 degrees from square, I embarked on a disastrous relationship that would change the course of my life…..

So you have Venus in Virgo?? Mine’s in Libra, so I won’t have to face the square for a little while. I keep myself sane with the fact that Pluto transits (generally, excepting retrogrades) only happen once per lifetime, and there are some none of us will ever see like tPluto conjunct nPluto – ie, I’ll probably never have to endure Pluto opp Pluto

From: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/learn-astrology/pluto-in-scorpio.php
Astrologers have assigned Pluto's rulership to Scorpio. Pluto travels its fastest in Scorpio, spending only 12 years in that sign, where it spends up to thirty years in the other signs. The planet Earth experienced perihelion between the Sun and Pluto in September of 1989, or its closest contact with that planet, during which time Pluto actually orbited on the inside of Neptune for a while. Here we have felt Pluto at its strongest. This is a convincing argument in itself that Pluto rules Scorpio.

An interesting article about Pluto in Scorpio: http://www.souledout.org/cosmology/transformationscorp.html

Have a Happy New Moon!

Just ended my own pluto square pluto natally and it was hard emotionally and financially but more emotionally. The key is standing up for yourself, and there is a need for restraint with money and personal time. Sticking close to key friends, staying light helps. Mine ended in November but I learned a lot of lessons, my relations with the opposite sex are more friendly, less intense.

I trust a few close male friends, but I cut out a lot of time wasting.

Watch your health if you are having the daily transit, and don't spend too much.
