I think of retrograde planets as planets in a sign where we have experienced them previously in other lifetimes. In this lifetime we "step back for a wider/better view. There are many reasons to repeat experience in this way. It could be to learn more about that planet in that sign, or it could be a matter of remembering past experience because it is relevant to this life . . . I have written a book on retrogrades from this perspective, called "Retrogrades and Consciousness." If you are interested, it is available from me and/or my website, listed below.------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Alice www.lifeprintastrology.com IP: Logged |

quote: ...retrograde planets are best understood from a magnetic perspective, from an energy point of view, and their activity is best understood conceptually as a time dynamic. direct planets are electrical, and they cause energy to charge and move; retrograde planets are magnetic and draw energy into the chart...
I got this quote from an excellent book called Chiron: Rainbow Bridge Between the Inner and Outer Planets by Barbara Hand Clow. ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll :::Libra Sun / 29* Gemini Rising / Aquarius Moon::: IP: Logged | |
