Venus Through The Signs - The orbit of Venus, like that of Mercury, lies between us and the Sun. Venus is known, astronomically, as the second inferior planet, and it can never be more than 48 degrees from the Sun as seen from the Earth. i happen to have venus in aquarius in the 5th house square saturn in taurus in the 8th exact, i too easily set myself up for huge disappopintment in relationships - my standards are too high for mortals of this earth, and this compromises my own self-worth. i have transiting neptune on my venus right now, and i feel this has a purpose, and it is to start letting go and truly open up to people, because the way i generally operate is that even while i want love, i push people away at the same time - no one ever seems appropriate enough...
