LUNAR ECLIPSE in VIRGO March 14, 2006 6:35pm 24 degrees 15 minutes VIRGO
quote: Every month the Moon travels in her orbit completely around the Earth. The New Moon occurs as the Moon is in exact alignment with the Sun (a conjunction), and Full Moons happen as the Moon and Sun are opposite each other with the Earth in between. An eclipse of the Moon (Lunar Eclipse) can only occur at a Full Moon when the Earth, Sun and Moon are all in alignment and when the Moon is in opposition to the Sun and only if the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth’s shadow. In other words, a Lunar Eclipse is when the Earth gets in the way of the sun’s light shining on a Full Moon and there appears to be a dark shadow moving across the Moon. The easiest way to remember what a Lunar eclipse means is to say ‘the present blots out the past’. The moon is usually associated with the past in astrology and whatever issues you need to clarify just think about them and don’t dwell on the past. Sometimes an eclipse signals the end of a relationship, sometimes the taking of a relationship to the next level and sometimes a change in marital status. All Full Moons bring matters to fulfillment. If you have been working on a business deal or looking for some kind of settlement, this eclipse could finalize things. A Full Moon heightens feelings and emotions anyway, but they will be even more so at a Lunar Eclipse. All eclipses produce stress in our lives as blockages begin to crumble followed by a feeling of freedom. Shock, they say, is good for the soul and a reminder of our humanness. At the very least, a stage in our lives ends and a new one begins, especially for the signs directly affected by the eclipse. But, all of us are affected by an eclipse depending on where the eclipse hits our personal chart. The environment will be a little unstable in that area of our life because there is change in the electromagnetic energy that affects us neurologically, mentally, emotionally and physically. On March 14, 2006 a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will occur as the Moon passes through the constellation of Virgo. At exactly 6:35pm the Sun will be moving opposite the Moon through the constellation of Pisces at 24°15¢. The Earth will be at exactly the same degree blocking the light of the Sun to the Moon as it falls in direct alignment at 24°15¢ of Pisces.
