Is it a truth, that if a planet does not aspect the Ascendant, the subject does not intigrate the said planet (energies) into their personality, style (mask). And thus, we can not see their traits in the material world. Would it be correct to say that planets which do not aspect the Ascendant our played out, live, inside the subject?------------------ Welcome all, good buddies. Be friendly and I'll be nice. Beowulf:I think I might know what you are trying to say, but I fully don't understand the question; could you please try to clarify it for me? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Beowulf,In my opinion, planets which do not aspect the Ascendant (self) and are still focused in the first house (being) are still combined into who we are. The other planets which do not aspect the Ascendant (ones not in the first house) focus the person's attentions on the house the planet is in. For example, a person with planets in the second house (physical, also personal money) which do not aspect the Ascendant might focus the person on their own money. Like Janus, a person has more than one face. Socially, you show your Ascendant, and people get to know you by your 1st House. In your home, your 4th House sign and planets are what your family perceives - no matter how it contradict your social facade. Your partner sees your 7th House. And yourself, you see your MC as the true you, although the only true you is all of it.

Thanks everyone...wilsontc, thanks... so, if the Sun does not directly aspect the Ascendant or any of the planets within the first house, we don't see the characteristics of the Sun at all, unless we were in a context relating to the house position of the Sun. For example, if the Sun was in the fourth house we would only see the real person if we were at home with them? ------------------ Welcome all, good buddies. Be friendly and I'll be nice. beowulf, You asked: quote: ...if the Sun does not directly aspect the Ascendant or any of the planets within the first house, we don't see the characteristics of the Sun at all, unless we were in a context relating to the house position of the Sun. For example, if the Sun was in the fourth house we would only see the real person if we were at home with them?
I wouldn't go so far as to say we woud not "...see the characteristics of the Sun at all..." After all, the one thing about the Sun everyone agrees on is that it is pretty darned visible! ;-) But we would see these 4th house people "shining their light" on their home (and other 4th house matters). This means, as you suggest, that, most likely, we wouldn't see ALL their Sun's light unless we were "in" the house where the Sun was focused (such as, using your example, using the 4th house, in their home). Agreeing...mostly, Tim IP: Logged | |
