Topic: Huuuuuuuuuuge Age Difference

This will sound shocking, perhaps, but I'm kind of in love with someone who is...well...27 years my senior...Yup! I mean, I always liked older guys, but not that old(er). My 7th house is empty, so without Saturn influence, BUT I do have:
Saturn conjunct ASC & Saturn conjunct Mars? Could that be the reason?
What are your experiences? What placement in natal chart defines tendency towards older guys? I’m puzzled!

WildRose ~ If you find that you're rarely ever attracted to anyone then the Saturn Mars conjunction would be at work here as well. Acts like a Capricorn Mars.IP: Logged |

Don't know the specifics, but it's true that saturn's going to give you a liking for people who have gottten somewhere in life through perseverence or simply seem more mature. The 27 year difference probably puts that person's saturn into a conjunct interaspect with your own mars, that could play a role too.IP: Logged |

My husband is 21 yrs. older than me.My Saturn is in the 5th house.I've always had crushes on older men since I was little girl.I had crush on Spock from Star Trek(I know,kinda weird),Michael Nesmith of the Monkees,and Peter Jennings.Catherine Zeta- Jones also has Saturn in the 5th house,which probably explains why she is married to Michael Douglas 25 yrs. her senior. I also have saturn in the fifth house; here is something I found:Competition for these people is deadlily serious, whatever form it may take. They take romance very seriously. There may be an inner conflict over morals versus sexual needs. They are inclined to have at least one affair with someone quite a bit older than themselves, or at least a severe crush. They are inclined to allow ambition to affect romance, desiring a relationship with one who is, or seems to be, important, or who might enhance their status in some way. This desire is not likely to be satisfied. If they get the desired relationship, it will probably bring very different results from those they had hoped. There is often a sense of loss or disappointment with romance. THey may feel that they have not had as much as others, although in fact they may have had more than most. They may brood for years over a heartbreak that others would have forgotten soon after, or feel guilty over the hurt they themselves have caused discarded lovers. They tend to view fifth-house matters in much too serious a light. They need to learn to emphasize joy and gaiety; less moralizing, less judgement, fewer demands on themselves as well as their lovers.
I actually usually go for younger myself but this supports your theory that it is Saturn!

Yes, it is Saturn in some shape or form.
But the interesting thing also is, as a woman with Saturn goes older, she may go for much younger guys. So it works both ways. IP: Logged |

I don't think I'm rarely ever attracted to anyone,quite the opposite in fact, but I've never been attracted to someone of my own age, oh, no, or even couple of years older.I can't explain it, but I've always found guys (men, real men!Mmmmm...) who are at least 10 years older than me extremely fascinating. Not sure about the Saturn thing.....But I am married to a guy 11 years younger, which I consider to be quite a small age gap....hahahha..... I also have a close bond with a guy 21 years younger...... That wouldnt create a problem for me, as I like younger men !!! So if you like older ones....then SO BE IT !!!!! XX IP: Logged |

Wild Rose......I have been told by a shaman healer that women are jealous of me cos I am with a young attractive man....I laugh at this, and to some point revel in it...at times I can be a bit of a  She said they say I am only with him becos of sex....ive been with him for 17 years and we have a 7 year old child together !!! Well sexually yeah I do like a younger man, but if I was to meet someone who was 70 and we connected, then the age wouldnt come into it. People are so fecking concerned with how others lead their lives....and are ready to judge without knowing the full story !!! this is interesting. My best friend is 19 and her boyfriend is 59 years old. Her first boyfriend when she was 16 was 57. She's never dated a man under 40. She says she's just not attracted to them at all. She'd got some Uranus aspects to her Venus but I mean no blatant Saturn aspects that stand out to me...heres her chart.. Rose,Since you have Libra (relationships) modifying Saturn (duty, also authority) conjunct (energy is combined with) Ascendant (self), you might be personally interested in relating to older, people of authority. In addition, Sun (self-expression, also dating) focused in the 10th house (duty, also authority) could re-emphasize the interest in people in authority. Charting, Tim ------------------

I fit this mold too. I've always been attracted to older men. When I was a kid, Spock was my kind of guy, and then later on I had a thing for Picard. My favorite actors have always been older. And I’ve almost always dated men that were at least 5 years older than myself, and have no issues with the idea of dating someone 20+ years older. If only there were more people like you, this world would be such a better place (I don’t want to sound pathetic...but it’s true!!) I like people with attitude, who know what they want in life. If I listened to some of my narrow-minded ‘friends’ who know what’s best for me better than myself, I would end up miserable in arms of someone I don’t even like. I’m so glad there are more people like you and me!
Alanabelle, I’ve noticed your friend’s Cancer, like me, so perhaps there’s something in it...Her Mars is in Capricorn, which should be representing more mature men in her life, or something like that. I think you are on to something, Tim.  I'm a Capricorn and have Saturn in the 10th house. Maybe it is also a Cancer/Cappy thing, as well? Both signs need **security**...not just financial, but emotional. I've realized that I feel safer emotionally with someone older than me.
