I now understand it on an intellectual level but as for the actual experience of becoming one soul, how could you tell if you experienced this?

Sweetcappie, I've experienced this with just one person.

The best way I can describe it... you feel light inside... you feel like you can't get close enough to the other person.... like you want to crawl inside of them.

Not in a lustful sense... I believe it was void of lust. It was purity of two people's feelings for one another.

It washes over you... it's the most peaceful thing I've ever experienced.

The other person was feeling the same. So I'm thinking that both people need to be at the same emotional place.

There can't be any emotional walls... each person has to completely let go. It places both people in an emotionally vulnerable position.

That may be why some people don't experience it? Self-preservation has to be thrown out. You have to put yourself in the hands of the other completely.

I swear that's what they write songs about.

I would suppose there would be no lust. There would be no quick movements and rolling over for sleep.

Yes, absolutely true.

"1000 Years" by Sting is also a good song to describe the feeling before this spiritual copulation. It would feel as though one were separated from the girl for a 1000 years even if the time between intercourse is 1-2 days.

Something else that I've noticed that may or may not help.

My emotions are pretty raw... which in turn I think is a pure form... which is also easily transformed. (See it does pay to be moody sometimes)

You have to have sex to have kids (or lab), and sexual energy is creative energy.

But it's more lighthearted than the meaning sex has in the 8th House. In the 8th, it's about merging with another person on a much deeper level. You give into each other completely and allow yourselves to be transformed by each other. And the 8th has a lot more to do with money than the 5th too.
