I was looking at my chart and I realized that literally all my friends are of the same sign (Sun) that my Ascendant or Moon is.
My rising is Aries, and Moon is Virgo. When I think about it, throughout my life all my closest friends have been one of those two signs.
Has anyone else noticed this happening?

My former best friend has his Moon in Libra, and his Ascendant in Sagittarius.

I have Moon in Sagittarius, and Ascendant in Virgo.

My current best friend has her Moon in Gemini, and her Ascendant in Aquarius.

I'm pretty much drawn to Aries people and get along really well with Libra. My Moon is in Aries.

Aquarius? Not so much.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing! Some of my closest friends are Aquas. Especially this one I know with a pisces moon. Also a few Leos thrown in there, who are mostly older than me and a very close Cappy friend with a Pisces ascendent and a Gemini flatmate with the same placement.

I've always made friends and never really kept them around for long. There are two people who have been my best friends for most of my life, they're both cancers. My ascendant is in Capricorn, and my moon is in Aquarius. I've had the most fun with a Gemini sun/pisces moon. My sun is in Gemini.
I find Aquarius men really annoying....female Aquarians are pretty cool though.

I have Libra Sun/Moon and Scorpio Ascendant.

My best friend is a Sag. Sun with a Capricorn Moon and also a Scorpio Ascendant.

My other best friend is an Aquarius Sun/Virgo Moon Leo Ascendant.

My most significant romance has a Gemini Sun, Libra Moon and Virgo Ascendant. (I am not sure I like Geminis anymore

I have always gotten a long well with other Libras and Scorpios, though!

I am aries sun with taurus moon and virgo rising

Almost all of my best friends throughout my life (and even my 2 sisters) are earth signs. Most of my best friends have been either Virgos(first 2 weeks of sept) and cappys(first two weeks of the sign) the thing is that I cannot stand them after a long period of time and I am easily offended by their lack of...lets say motivation and care for others other than themselves. But my mother always told me that what you dont like about other people is typically what you dont like about yourself. I dont know....interesting....

Interesting! I'm a Cancer sun with a Taurus moon and a Sag rising. My friends have always been either fire or earth signs. Aries, Leos, Virgos, Taurus', etc.

Cap sun/moon/mercury/Asc

Most of my good friends have been Leo and Aries, with a few Sags although there are a Libra and a Cancer there. I get along easily with fire and water signs, but usually not earth or air.

Hmmm... yup, my dearest friend, from tweenage...I meant the 'w' in there too ... anyway, she is a double Taurus with a Gemi Moon and her Merc exactly conjuncts my own Gemi Sun...Her Taurus Sun; conjunct exactly my Jupiter and SN.
The thing I had recently discovered, as well, is that I tend toward difficulty with those in my life who have Merc in Taurus... oddly enough, my own Merc is retro in Taurus... go figure, lol. I can spot a Gem out of the crowd(not out of a picture though ), and it seems, that Gems and Taurians are my immediate circle. Then, that goes to these signs dual rulerships of Libra and Virgo too.... just not Merc in Taurus...? My Son has his Merc in Taurus... I believe he has the key to many a lesson, for his mom
Truth-be-told, I'm a really easy going type, though and, can get along fine with anyone.... does'nt mean they'll be close but, I'm learning that it comes with the misunderstanding between myself and some others, that I am given great opportunities to grow.

DITTO.. ! IVE Had a lot of friends/partners .. who are Aquas ..I have Aquarius rising.. Also my very bestfriends bday is Today.(march20) .. I have moon in Pisces..and im also on the cusp ..of Cancer/Leo. Many of my GOOD FRIENDS are also cuspers..!!! weird? or what? ....

I've noticed this too actually. I have moon in leo and I tend to get along really well with leo sun signs. some of my best friends have sun in leo.

As for rising signs......it sort of goes both ways. I have a scorpio rising, and I can get along okay with scorpio sun signs...some I get along with and some I don't (or maybe it's just a scorpio thing, haha).

But has anyone else besides me noticed this same pattern with venus too? My venus is in pisces, and I've always really clicked with pisces sun signs. One of my cousins is a pisces sun sign with venus in taurus, and I'm a taurus sun sign with venus in pisces, and we've always been extremely close.

Yes! Daydream... I can relate to what you say regarding Scorpio,... I too have Scorp Asc and, find that I really haven't met but a few and, it feels like there exists some bridge that has yet to be crossed by either of us,.. in knowing each other... I guess, for me, these are the friends that take a bit more ... not just on my part either
As far as your Venus observations... I would agree, as well! I have my Moon in Pisces but, seem to freak out those that I know, with the Sun placed here... Other Pisces Moon peeps,... we get along good. I have Venus in Taurus and, Taurians are where friendship in the truest, (so far anyway), has always been found

yeah...some Scorpio sun's are a little too......Scorpio for me. I'll either love or hate a Scorpio sun sign really (and they either seem to love or hate me).

But I've always gotten along very well with Pisces and Leo sun signs, cause of my moon and venus. And I usually get along well with Taurus..which is my sun sign. I don't always get along with Leo moons (sometimes I do, depending on the rest of their chart), but I've always gotten along with venus in Pisces.
