Your Sun sign gives you major clues as to what attracts you or what would be a harmonious relationship, as well as house position, and the rest of your chart, in relation with another's.
For instance, you can be very attracted to someone who's sunsign might perhaps be in a disharmonious position , like an inconjunct, with yours.. but their venus might be conjunct your Sun for instance....
But there are many other clues, once you know your chart. If Virgo is your ascendant, you may be drawn to Virgo Suns, etc... even though it is by ordinary astrology, not considered compatable.

The basics is....
Fire signd are trined your Sun ( Aries would be conjunct, or same sign as... and we're not talking degrees, just basic personality harmony), Leo and Sagittarius.
You are all fire signs, therefore, get along at the core, in general.
Sextiled signs are good too...the Air signs... Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
Opposite is Libra, and opposites usually have attraction/magnetic polarity...

But that being said, tht is general, and yuor entire chart makeup needs to be considered.
