I worry alot and often wonder, is it due to having a Gemini Rising. If I get something stuck in my head, I could fixate on said topic until I have to try and snap out. Maybe I am wrong now but I though having Gemini Rising, it must attribute to same.IP: Logged |

i have gemini rising. iam wild. although i think im beginning to calm down. i can be careless about my family. i dont call or visit them often. i prefer to call my friends and strangers family. i dont worry at all though. again, that means iam careless. im working on that. you probably are not worried. maybe you are just high strung and nervous! if you worry, maybe you have some prominent Virgo placements in your chart. Do you Aries? i dont think Aries is a worrying sign. Aries is impulsive and brave. Maybe its something going on with the planets that is screwing you up man! IP: Logged |

hey Ariespink,i forgot to add. since we share the same rising sign, that means that you too are in the obscurity period! or dark period as Grant Lewi calls it. this period focuses on the movement of the planet Saturn through 1st, 2nd and 3rd house. Saturn occupies each house for 2yrs. Right now Saturn is in mine and your 3rd house in Leo. Grant Lewi explains that during this period, hard luck surrounds you.progress is at its worst in the material world. everything seems to be going no where but in the direction of hell.
Its normal because Saturn is dropping not rising. so, in about a yr and half when Saturn enters Virgo in the 4th house we will have a new start. at this point we can make a climb upward toward the 10th house of acheivement and public recognition! but in the mean time, we can think up some big plans. anyhow, maybe thats another thing thats been rattling you up. the feeling of uselessnes and lack of direction. man, its been 5yrs. this period sucks. I'm Gemini Rising, too.Lauren is a fellow Aries Sun, Gemini Rising. I'm a Capricorn Sun, and one of the key things to keeping me happy and stable is removing worry from my life. I can really stress out at times. As I've gotten older, though, I've taken back the power in a lot of situations. I've found that some of the things I've really stressed over in the past weren't really worth getting upset over, because they ALWAYS seem to work out. My biggest stress has traditionally been money, and it's amazing how the world doesn't end due to lack of money. The world keeps moving and you keep moving with it. Sometimes it requires someone else's generosity to keep you going, but that's just God proving he won't abandon you. I tend to look at these times as character building, because whatever you stress about will actually cause you to become a specialist in averting that situation in the future. It's kind of like dealing with hard aspects in astrology. For instance, I have Mercury Opposite Saturn, which tends to make me feel misunderstood. As a result I've become more and more clear in expressing myself as a way of coping. Having this concentration probably makes me a better communicator than someone who selfishly assumes that everyone understands him or her. I hope that helps.  IP: Logged |

ARIESPINK -I usually need to make it known that my Rising is Taurus 29.50 Degrees, and the majority of my 1st House is Gemini's domain.... well, you know, the subject comes up... So most of my life, I had the understanding that when it comes to Cusps, put the blinders on away from the Ascendant, and I was a fullblown Taurus Rising. I think whatever is Aspecting the Ascendant is really important because it helps balance out any disproportionality to the Wheel. Some use Equal House for when looking at ONLY HOUSES. Then back to Placidus when looking ONLY at Signs, etc. Personally haven't tried that yet, but it rings true. Sorry, I cannot recall who here does that, maybe they'll pop in... I love the way you say "I could fixate on said topic until I have to try and snap out". That to me is like the extreme Mercurial influence, and at the opposite end, I would place Pluto. Has to do with a whacky theory I had about the true meanings of the words "Routine and "Ritual" being tagged on to how we take up space. If you're still with me, such as Gemini being a lot more about routine, Scorpio about ritual. Does that make any sense to you, cuz I get what you're saying ... Maybe what I'm talking about has something to do with superstition, and we're still wrestling with the *ooooh they're manufacturing fake voodoo dolls for girls* ------------------
