I am questioning compatibility between myself and someone I recently met. He lives afar...and I met him by chance. Most of our planets are in the same signs. It blows me away. We finish each others sentences.......eery things seem to be happening since we have met. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

For instance:
My sun is 04 degrees Taurus
His is 07 degrees Taurus

My Moon is 09 degrees Taurus
His Moon is 00 degrees Scorpio (polar opposite?)

My rising sign is Virgo, but possibly Leo (not sure about this one)
His rising sign is 23 degrees Gemini

My Mercury is 09 Degrees Aries
His Mercury is 14 degrees Aries

My Venus is 18 degrees Aries
His Venus is 15 degrees Aries

My Mars is 12 degrees Scorpio
His Mars is 28 degrees Taurus (polar opposite?)

My Jupiter is 29 degrees Aries
His Jupiter is 27 degrees Taurus (my sign)

My Saturn is 09 degrees Libra
His Saturn is 09 degrees Libra

My Uranus is 10 degrees Cancer
His Uranus is 15 degrees Cancer

My Neptune is 19 degrees Libra
His Neptune is 22 degrees Libra

My Pluto is 19 degrees Leo
His Pluto is 20 degrees Leo

My N. Node is 28 degree in Aquarius
His N. Node is 07 degrees in Aquarius

Does this mean we are too much alike....or, could this mean there is the potential for compatibility, given all of our mutual planetary aspects, as well as the polar opposite aspects?

Would love to hear from anyone with expertise in this area.

Love and Light,
Mistymeadows

misty,

Whether or not this relationship will go anywhere will depend on each of your abilities to work together toward each of your goals. If one tries to "get there" before the other, there could be some SERIOUS competition!

Non-competitively,

Tim

Can you give me a bit more information Tim.......perhaps a few more specifics? Note that our moons are polar opposites....and there are two other influences that are not the same...He was born on 4/28/53 at 8:06 AM, while I was born on 4/24/52, but am not sure of the time)

misty,

You asked:

quote:

The answer to this is yes and yes! Since you ARE very similar in energy, you could be competitive if you focused your energy to accomplish exactly the same thing. And, to go any further, I, too, would need "a few more specifics"...namely the PLACE where you both were born!

Specifically,

Tim

Misty,

Tim said it well there - it CAN work out if you want it to (now whether it'll last is something that depends on both of you).

And since you asked for which aspects will give you the ability to finish each other's sentences, look for

- (a tight) sun conjunct mercury in the composite
- (a tight) conj/trine/sextile between your mercury's in a synastry

those are compounded when both occur and/or when there's a mercury/moon-neptune aspect in either or both the composite and synastry

The interesting thing though.......is that this individual does not come across as being competitive at all. He is persistent, as I am, but not stubborn. He is pursuing me, as much as I am interested in him. He has a rising in Gemini....mine, I believe may be Virgo. I may have been born sometime in the afternoon on the 24th of April, by the way, in Rochester, in 1952. He was born in Flint Michigan, on 4/28/53 at 8:06 AM. Things have moved in a forward direction on a spiritual and intellectual level as well. I am always interested in anyone's perspective.........I do appreciate it.

Misty,

Thanks for providing your full birth info. Since you BOTH have Aries (being, also action) modifying Venus (relationships), you BOTH may be comfortable with "aggressive pursuit" in your relationships. Your Moon combinations can't be accurately given without your definite birthdate, but the other planets (including the Sun) move slowly enough that we can look at them.

You have Sun (self-expression) conjunct (energy is combined with) Sun, indicating a strong connection between you. Looking at inter-combination of the personal planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars...no Moon for reasons mentioned), you only have connections between Mercury (thinking/daily work) and Venus (relationships), indicating there is a "mental" quality to your relationship with each other. In addition, there is NO contact to his Mars (being, also action) and Jupiter (expansion), indicating he may see no place for "action" or "expansiveness" in the relationship.

You seem to be happy in the relationship and are comfortable with him. So enjoy the spiritual and intellectual levels you and he reach together!

Relating,

Tim

Tim,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. How did you all find the time to become so knowledgeable..... I have followed astrology for over thirty years..........and have a pretty good grip on a lot of things .....sun signs.. amongst other things, but I have never taken the time to learn how to do a chart. When you say he may not have a "need for expansion", what did you mean by that? I did forget to tell you that I was born in New Hampshire........Rochester New Hampshire. My suspicion is that I was born around 3:00 in the afternoon, though not sure. By the way, the spiritual and the intellectual..........yes, this is going well. And, with so much Taurus and Libra, Venus is playing a strong role, I suspect........and, my suspicion is that there will be no problems with the physical aspect of our relationship! Add Leo to that.......that part should come easy, heh?

Misty,

Unfortunately, my knowledge doesn't include being psychic! So I have no IDEA how this Mars-Jupiter disconnect works out in the relationship. I was very interested at your mentioning the "intellectual" side of the relationshhip given the strong Mercury-Venus connections. Perhaps it has to do with he has no need to be "overly-active" (Mars) in some way in the relationship. Or maybe he doesn't want to "expand" (Jupiter) into too many other things in the relationship. YOU are in the best position to see what (if anything) this lack of Mars-Jupiter indicates.

However, if you want to learn basic astrological chart interpretatnion, I CAN help you there! Just go to the link at the bottom of this post and follow the 6 steps. And soon you'll have a "pretty good grip" on how to do a chart!

Guessing,

Tim

I did not know that the moon placement was so sensitive to birth-time? What are the possibilities for 1/16/77 betw. 12pm-12am beside Sagittarius for Grand Rapids, Michigan?

capgirl,

Even though the Moon may stay in the same sign, its exact placement can change by as much as 14 degrees over a day. For example, the Moon could be between 15 degrees Aries and 29 degrees Aries.

Thanks Tim..........I shall try to learn more about the aspects........trines...conjunctions, etc....thought I knew quite a lot......but, there is a lot more to learn! I did not realize the moon thing could vary as you say it does......or, however you stated it. So, is there a chance that I do not have a Taurus moon then, if I do not know the precise time of my birth? Note that I indicated that I was born in Rochester NH, which I had not indicated before. Does that help at all, even though I do not know the precice time................hahhahaha........ regarding the comment about incestuous..... I almost had that same feeling when I saw the similarities of our charts... however I prefer to see it as as a "soul mate", or perhaps a "twin flame", as they say. Time will tell, I guess.

The location of your birth does not affect the speed the Moon moves through the sky. Depending on what degrees the Moon moved through on the date of your birth, there may be a possibility you do not have a Taurus Moon. For example, if the Moon started at 24 degrees Aries at midnight, you may not have a Taurus Moon. Or if the Moon started at 28 degrees Taurus midnight, you may not have a Taurus Moon.

Damn, I guess I really do need to contact someone to find out what time I was born during the day. You would think my mother would have a clue.........but, then again....sorry to say, no surprise there... Perhaps her sister will remember. One of these days perhaps I will find the time to research the situation. Unfortunately, it is not on my birth certificate.

A good way to estimate would be to look at a chart made between two possible birthtimes in the afternoon.. chances are, you have the moon indicated, but as Tim said, look to the degrees... if, for instance, the Moon is in mid degrees, chances are good it is in Taurus, whether you were born a few hours later or earlier. You'll get a good idea if you run two or more charts using different possible birth times in the afternoon.
