 Trying to figure out the rising signs.
WATER RISING SIGNS
Cancer Rising, with the above rising sign, on meeting new people for the first time, I find that people with said rising will be very reserved and quiet until they eventually feel comfortable. Please let me know any more information as I would be delighted.
Checking out descriptions on cancer rising, I read from one book that a person could be slim or else tendancy to put on weight and a round face.
Pisces Rising,
Very discreet and quiet on first meeting people. Do not know what description a pisces rising could have. Scropio Rising, Very dark features and striking looking and also very secretive, would not release alot of private information.
EARTH RISING
Capricorn Rising Above I feel could be very private and reserved when meeting someone especially if their sun sign was Cancer.
Do not know what description they could have. Virgo Rising Very neat in their appearance and a tendancy to always look immaculate. Very studious in their work and settle down to work readily. I have read they can look ten years younger and could be slim etc.
Correct me if I am wrong. Taurus Rising, Quiet rising sign, likes to have material wealth and solid foundation in property etc. Can be tall or well built. FIRE RISING SIGNS Leo rising can be I read very confident in their approach in meeting people. They also have a tendancy to wear alot of jewellery. Men like a nice gold Watch and women like to wear bracelets and necklaces. They really are nice warm people. Can be slim. Aries Rising The most honest people you could meet. Always like to be on the move. Can be well built etc. CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. Saggittarius Rising Can be blunt in what they say to people on first approach. Tendancy to be prone to accidents. Again can be slim or else a tendancy to put on weight later in life.
AIR RISING SIGNS
GEMINI RISING I have this rising sign. When I approach people for the first time, I tend to be cautious and I suss people out by observing. I then ask a lot of questions when I feel that the time is right. I am honest in what I say and have malious towards anyone. I have a dimple on my cheek or else a cleft on the chin is a trait of the gemini rising. AQUARIUS RISING Very aloof and quiet. Tendancy to have mood swings now and again. Likes a good laugh. Can be tall etc. LIBRA RISING Very quiet and private and takes a while to open up. Genuinely nice people.
IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME FEED BACK ON THEIR RISING SING, I WOULD BE SO HAPPY.
IS THERE ANYBODY WITH A GEMINI SUN AND GEMINI RISING AND COULD THEY GIVE ME FEEBACK. IP: Logged |

Hi ARIESPINK-My input:
Scorp - the features are how do i say the face I mean and the hair combine in very strong color combos. dark hair and dark eyes with milky white skin, or platinum hair with striking blue eyes; there always seems to be a very intense color combo regarding their hair skin eyes. Hope this makes sense.
Cap - noses can be kind of hooked, gosh theyre sexy- i think that cos I have moon venus in cap. Lets see the men can appear a bit "angry" in a silent way if you see them and dont know them but theyre not at all angry just super focused. cap can be just as intense as scorp.
Leo - this is mine so I can speak. we like standout pieces for dramatic effect but the lovely ones go for a few of these instead of a big mess. think of madonna when she was younger [garish], [i know i know virgo rising but shes still epitome of leo] compared to now. we tend to have muscular/sporty type bodies or at least like to show those parts off. also leos have a very steady confident way of looking people right in the eyes; not intense like scorp but very head-on and purposeful.
Gem - funny what you say about the clefty cos i have that but no gemini anywhere -- wonder what that is..

I am a scorpio rising and let's just say that I don't have the typical scorpio traits. I have very liquid filled eyes, very fair skin, and have almost an innocent quality to me (so I have been told). People say that I have a very inviting, friendly, and caring demeanor, although I can come off as snobbish because I am quite shy. I do tend to enjoy people watching, for the most part, and definately take stock before I jump in and get to know someone. My man told me that I have "doe eyes", not very scorpio nature if you ask me. But he also said that there is this alluring quality to me that seems to just draw people in. I have uranus in the 1st house, and Mars/Sun in pisces trine asc in 5th. Pluto in 12th. I've never identified with the scorp rising traits much, especially physically. But when I am angry, watch out...that's when it really kicks in, not to mention aries merc. My tongue can be caustic. I've never had problems with people wondering if I am angry. If I am ticked off, people know immediately. I don't hide it well. SB IP: Logged |

I don't really agree with the description of the Leo rising.I am the opposite.Although i've been said that i can be warm and friendly but that only happens once i get someone very well.  IP: Logged |

I'm a Leo rising and I agree with the part about staring people in the eyes. A lot of the time I don't even notice how intense my eyes are until someone points out that I'm making them uncomfortable, haha.I don't like jewelry, per se, but I like to wear something different.. I'll take a normal outfit and just tweak it in some way to make it stand out, or draw attention to myself. Although inside I am more nervous, shy, and insecure, my outward approach to people is confident, warm, friendly, and always accompanied by a big smile! IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo Rising.
Neat is not a word I would use to describe myself. I'm pretty disorderly. I rarely look perfect. And, to be honest, I like working about as much as I like having toe jam. I hate it.Looking younger is true though. But so is looking older. Or looking feminine.None of it is hard for me to do with a little adjusting of my hair style. If I cut my hair short, I look a lot younger than I am. If I leave it long like it is now, I look older. If I shave my sideburns and flip my hair over a bit, I look like a woman. To the point where I could literally mess up my hair a bit, put on girls' clothing and walk into a woman's bathroom, and no one would stop me. But I wouldn't do that. Capricorn Rising-They should call me Ms. No Reactions because I really have none. I do become shocked, I just don't show it. I know it ****** off guys in the past when they would try to make me jealous or something  . I do have a temper though...so watch out  ... lol. In combination with my cancer sun and 12th house placements, I am very reserved until you get to know me, thats when my venus in gem/5th comes out. I do fall in long black spells though. I have the second darkest skin in my immediate family (the first being my brother, who is a Capricorn). My hair is jet black-or atleast very close to it. I have large brown eyes. People say my eyes look sad, but I was thought it was cause Imma Cancer. Maybe because my chart ruler, saturn, is in the twelth. I've always went for guys with dark hair-all the other ones usually don't do it for me. dang....I feel like I just out an ad on EHarmony or something. IP: Logged |

Pisces rising...Look like my father- he's a pisces sun. Unpredictable like him, but more so (guess b/c I'm a girl...lol). Whenever the workload gets too overwhelming, I want to escape into movies, music, or sleep. Lately I found my passion in art history (I find it extremely fascinating...especially when combined w/ religion). However, I have to major in one of the sciences to go into a science field...which sucks to no end (stupid pisces asc opposition virgo sun). I'm always in conflict w/ myself...should I go w/ my desires, or what I should be doing what ppl expect of me. If i could....I'd throw everything away and do what i truly want. But then I'd never want to deal w/ ppl's wraths...can't bear to disappoint them (stupid virgo). On the other hand...ppl have commented on my hands, which seem to be very artistic in expression. They also love my smile...it's like a celebrity smile (maybe my leo moon or venus). I like to match everything and put little sparkly things so to look elegant, but simple. I luv Hindi movies (though I'm not from that part of the world)...b/c I luv how they strain those sad moments in movies to the point that I can't hold back my tears any further. Best love stories...that's all I can say. Then we have Memoirs of A Geisha...I suggest ppl to watch it whenever they have the chance. But sometimes I don't understand why my own friends say that I'm scary. Also, one of my friends said that I'm dry, and too forceful. Oh well... ARIESPINK, I just saw what you said about Aquarius Rising...and to be honest, from my experience, that's the complete OPPOSITE of an Aquarius Rising.One of my best friends has it. She's loud, she's obnoxious, pushy, short. Haha, You'd think Aries, wouldn't you? But no. She tends to think with her heart and not her brain, too. Tends to like guys who are at least a foot taller than her. With long brown hair. And who are super skinny. IP: Logged |

hey I kinda fit the libran rising sign here,Even though my rising is scorp according to western astrology.But my vedic astro(the method we follow at home) puts my asc as libran.I dont display the typical scorp traits like curly hair,short height,etc.

I have a Gemini Rising too Ariespink.I ask a ton of questions too when I get to know a person. Dont have dimples or a cleft. I don't look as young as a Gemini rising would be expected to look like. Though I could pass for 5-8 years younger than I am, and Im 27. Do have a habit of speed reading. I read numerous books at the same time, but rarely finish one through to the end, unless Im totally captured by it. Im a multi-tasker. IP: Logged |

Daydreamer, You sound just like me. I could have ten books lying on the floor and only read the one that captures my attention otherwise I could start two at the same time and leave them there. I am tall in height, but met a Gemini Rising one time and she was quite small. Are you tall, just wondering. There goes my many questions again.
Could anyone tell me how Leo rising is on meeting someone the first time.

Can I just add that say someone has Mercury in Aries mixed with Cancer Rising, then that person would be extra chatting having the Mercuy in Aries. They would release more information than a Cancer in Rising normall would. A lot of people with cancer rising might have poor eyesight. Then again they could have perfect eyesight.
If someone had Mercuy in Cancer mixed with Cancer rising, they could have a sharp tongue with what they say and could be blunt.
My Mercury is in Pisces so I would be wary of hurting people. I have read with Saggittarius rising that they love horses. Is this true or not and that they are usually tall in height. IP: Logged |

I am a leo rising and I spend a lot of time trying to make sure my first impression is as good as it can be, very vain. And I hate to admit it but when I first meet someone I observe every little detail about them, physically and personality-wise and I make a judgement that is hard to change.IP: Logged |

spellbound, parts of your post could describe me ~ I also have Uranus conjunct ascendant, trine Mars in Pisces (also a minor aspect ~ inconjunct Moon/Venus in Gemini, and Jupiter in Aries).
I have also been told that I have "doe" eyes; one other time I was informed that they look like chocolate drops.  The inviting quality isn't nearly as strong as it used to be ~ at least I don't think it is. I have some walls built up, and can be extremely shy. There are times when I can put out a "don't come anywhere near me" vibe, and my facial expressions give away my feelings/emotions right away.
I do think that, just like Aries, Scorpios have a softer side that isn't always recognized, for whatever reasons.  AriesPink, I do have strong/heavy-ish features, dark hair/eyes, pale skin.
