Hello, I still can't quite understand the importance of composite chart in relationships. I know what the composite chart is, and all the theoretical stuff about it (midpoints, chart of a relationship, etc.), but how it practically shows in a relationship, I still can't quite understand. Could someone give me some practical examples from their relationships about how did the aspects from composite manifest in real life, even if they were completely different to the aspects in synastry. I am especially confused by these contradictory aspects, say someone has Venus square Pluto in synastry, but Venus conjunct Pluto in composite, how do you explain that? Or Sun square Moon in synastry, but Sun trine Moon in composite, etc... Any empirical examples, between any planets would be welcome, I am really keen to finally understand the composite chart. Is it really that important? Thanks everyone, Selena. IP: Logged |

the composite chart shows the 3rd party, the relationship as the sum of both of you interacting together - its what you create, the progressed and transits to composite show when a couple have good times bad times, when certain things happenthe synastry is static in a way - its always there - all the interaction will be there day in day out personally speaking and how it affects both of you the composite shows how the relly develops over time and what its all about i know what you mean though its confusing a bit the synastry is how you interact with each other what you give to each other how you love argue do this and that the composite chart is how all these things gel into the relationship - how would you describe the main characteristics of your relationship is what it is - hope some of that made sense IP: Logged |

Selena -That's a good question. It would be nice to find a source which puts those types of Aspects into some sort of graph. Makes total sense to me. All I can say at this point is that perhaps each individual's Chart is able to influence the course of the relationship's Chart. But I think it's to a point. No one person can overtake a relationship, no matter what they think. There are so many ingredients in the mix, you may have to go individually, but I don't see anything wrong with at least drawing up a general graph. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged | |
