Is it possible? If something is in our chart, does that mean it will always be a struggle or a problem in our lives? For example - the Taurus tendency to be stubborn?IP: Logged |

gemini,The energy is always there, it depends on how you use it. For example, if a person is "stubborn" it could also indicate they have deep values. That person could be a highly effective leader because the people they are leading would know that the person wouldn't give up on them when the going got a little "tough" but, instead, would be true to their values and to the team. True. I'd rather turn the weaknesses into strengths... I like to view my 'stubborn-ness' as determination and strength - others have said to me though that I'm just plain stubborn! lol! What about something more negative, like jealousy or possessiveness? I don't see anything very positive in those traits... how can they be turned into a blessing? And if they can't, then how can they be dealt with when it's obviously a part of the way you are? It can be a problem for me at times, but this seems to really only come to the surface if my self-esteem is a bit low. Perhaps focus on those aspects of myself that build up my self-esteem?

Gemini,You asked: quote: What about something more negative, like jealousy or possessiveness? I don't see anything very positive in those traits.
If we put on our "rose colored glasses" we can see that jealousy is our way of recognizing something we would like to have. Possessiveness is a way of protecting those things which are important to us. Once we recognize that we want something someone else has it makes sense to work out how we can get the same or something similar into our lives. And, when we become possessive we must also recognize that being over-protective can cause issues in being open to new experiences and ideas. So we need to be protective of those things we like, while still remaining open to new experiences and ideas. As with all things, it is a matter of balance. A virtue exaggerated can become a vice. A vice understood can become a virtue. Virtuously non-astrological, Tim IP: Logged |

Hmm... nicely said! I like your perspective - it must be those rose-coloured glasses. You're a wise person. IP: Logged |
