I find it odd that a lot of weddings are in June...the Sun is in Gemini most of the month, isnt that bad for a marriage to get married under the Sun in Gemini?I think late June is always best, cause Cancer is such a family oriented sign..... anyways, its interesting to me people would get married in June(gemini part)...hmm ------------------

LOL... Well I know that Harpyr is getting married June 24th or 26th to Mr. Scorpio and I am getting married June 29th to Mr. Leo in Vegas IP: Logged |

I think June was the traditional month of weddings among the Celtic peoples because Beltane came at the beginning of May. Thus lots of babies on the way by June.IP: Logged |

I know this one.June 21-23 is the festival of mid-summer. As in "A Midsummer Nights Dream." It's also known as Summer Solstice. It's the longest day of the year. The Sun God is therefore at his most powerful. He is the Hero, the Champion, the Alpha-Male, and therefore irresistable. The Goddess, being impressed with all this, is seduced by him, and they are "Married."
 Of course if you read a Midsummer nights dream you can see the back and forth banter of Tatiana and Oberon, King and Queen / God and Goddess of the "Fairies."  Fairies are quite active Midsummer Night, as you might guess, casting all manner of Love Spells on hapless humans, and causing them to engage in naughty behavior.

Yes, a wonderful fantasy, the midsummer eve, it is on my birthday, yippeeeee!
I always loved that play, it really is so magical. And apparently, according to "The book of birhtdays", This Gemini-Cancer cusp (from 19-24 June) is the Cusp of Magic.
I wonder if it is because of the middsummer night, or the summer solistice. Who knows, anyway, it's beautiful!

Numerologically speaking, June is the 6th month of the year and 6=LOVE I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Or maybe it's just that it's usually sunny and warm and you don't have to worry about your wedding pictures being full of umberellas  All the best to both Harpyr and Pid for their upcoming weddings btw and I hope you both have lovely June days for it IP: Logged |
