Has anyone had experience with house placements in synastry? I am in a relationship with a woman whose Sun exactly conjuncts my Jupiter and decendant in the 7th House and has her venus (in taurus) in my 5th. I have never encountered anyone that is so generous, loving and straight forward in my life. Hayek IP: Logged |

Hayek, When you see a synastry chart with strongly aspected fifth and seventh houses, than you are onto something very important. I noticed this countless of times in synastry. My 2 personal examples are : 1. My husband - My Sun, Moon, Mercury conjunct his seventh house cusp, and my Ascendant is also there. My venus is in his fifth and his venus is in my fifth. Instant attraction. 2. Another massive attraction was with someone whose 5 planets fell in my fifth house (where his Sun, and Mercury, the ruler of his descendant conjuncted my Jupiter). He wanted to have children with me, and I was madly in love with him. At the same time, my Sun, Moon and Merc. fell in his seventh, and the ascendant fell in his eighth house. So, the house placements in synastry are super important, as they show where the planets/aspects action will be felt the most. So, it seems like you are onto a reall good thing. IP: Logged |

Yey, my hubbie has his sun and mercury in my 5th house and his venus in my 7th house. I have my mercury and neptune in his 7th house and my pluto (dunno if this is a good thing) in his 5th house. I also have my venus in his 8th which may add some spark! We've been married seven years! Good luck Hayek!------------------ SCORPIO SUN 5TH HOUSE ASCENDANT CANCER CANCER MOON 12TH HOUSE IP: Logged |

Selena ~ Was the instant attraction with your husband mutual? If I asked this before apologies but all the conj's to the DSC in his chart have me curious -=-------------- Also a big attraction is personal planets in the 8th. I have my Venus moon and merc closely aligned and when I see a Gem ASC guy, man, my engine gets revved! The Venus person is usually drawn to the 8th person in my experience and the 8th house person has the say so in how that goes, or if it gets off the ground at all. IP: Logged |

Hi Arnicka, No problem for your question, happy to reply. The attraction was instant on his part, it was love at first sight for him. He walked into my place of work, and fell in love at first sight, and kept coming back to ask me out, brought flowers etc. We didn't work together, he was the client of my company, so it was an unexpected meeting, as this was the first time ever that he visited the company for some enquiries. I also liked him, but I didn't "fall in love" at first sight. However, after we went out only few times, I fell in love and I just knew that I WANTED to marry him. We got engaged after 6 months, and have been married (still happily ), for 6 years now. You see, I have a very tight conjunction of my Sun, Moon and Mercury (They are on 1,3 and 4 degrees Cancer), and the Ascendant is in Cancer, too (on a later degree), so when they hit someone's sensitive point in the chart, they hit hard, because they are so tight, and all in the same sign. You are so right about the 8th house. Mine is in Aquarius, Mars and NN are also there in conjunction, and Aquas have always been my number one dating partners (my first husband also was an Aqua). Instant attraction both ways, I just sense them, and they glue on to me. In my past, almost every time a guy was attracted to me, he turned out to be an Aqua, and I am magnetically attracted to them, too. I just sense them. I also noticed that if someone's Ascendant falls in my 8th, it is really powerful. Any strong links with 8th house will do, even if the ruler of the 8th house is in strong aspects with other's personal planets. So, we have very similar experiences here... IP: Logged |

Aquamarine,The easiest way to do this is to go to www.astro.com and set up the two charts. Do a chart synastry, showing the two charts. Look at the charts and see where the planets of each person falls into the houses of the other person. This shows you where each person's energy is focused on the other person. If you want to look for possible additional focuses of the planetary energies, look at the chart and see if any planets are within 5 degrees of the cusp (edge) of another house. These planets in 5 degrees of the cusp of another house fall into BOTH houses. For example, if someone's Sun at 0 degrees Aries is in your 3rd house and the cusp of your 4th house is 3 degrees Aries, the Sun is within 5 degrees from the next house...so the Sun is in the 3rd AND the 4th house. On the cusp, Tim IP: Logged | |
