I have recently found an automatic mid-point calculator that has shown me some amazing numbers i.e. smack on certain points. In Natal work, transits, and Solar returns [that SR has produced some doozies] Now I read some of the work Basil watzhis name thru some of you. I don't beleve in coincidence. Thoughts? There is something to this no doubt.IP: Logged |

Indeed, I've heard that midpoints mean a lot, but I lack specifics. Jupiter's sitting on my Sun/Moon midpoint right now.IP: Logged |

Here's a little something on the Sun/Moon midpoint in synastry: http://www.astrologicalpredictions.ca/news/sunmoon.htm quote: Sun/Moon midpointThe midpoint in your chart between your Sun (masculine principle)and Moon(feminine principle), is a very sensitive point in regards to marriage and romance. Any potential romantic partner with a planet on your Sun/Moon midpoint is going to have an effect on your romantic life or your marriage. Your potential mate with his or her Sun or Moon on that degree will definitely have an impact on you, you are not imagining it. This is also sensitive to any opposition and square to this midpoint degree. So all in all if you find a romantic partner does have their Sun or Moon conjunct, square or opposing your Sun/Moon midpoint it is not all in your head, you are not imagining the attraction it is there. The Sun/Moon midpoints are also active as marriage timers, when they are contacted or activated in transit by the outer planets Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn or Jupiter. The transits are generally activated by conjunction, square, or opposition. This degree is also sensitive to progressions at the time of marriage.
I've found it to have a basis in potential friendships, as well. My Sun/Moon and Sun/Venus midpoint is around 11 or 12 Taurus/Scorpio; I've immediately hit it off with people whose Sun, Moon, Venus or Mercury aspect that point in some way (mainly in Scorpio, but their planet(s) would also be in my first house, so I guess there's a certain affinity there already). The same goes for my midpoint between Moon/Venus and Jupiter, which is also conjunct my Ascendant/Descendant at 2*56 Scorpio/Taurus. My Moon/Venus in Gemini conjoins my Mercury/Saturn midpoint, which could be a part in the fact that I can be so reserved (though I wasn't all that shy as a kid ~ I could and would "jibber jabber" with anyone, according to my Dad). There are a couple of long threads in this forum with all kinds of different links, that were started by beebuddy ~ you might want to give those a try, see if there's anything there that will interest/help you. Hi Node, I cannot reply to your email because AOL is bouncing off my replies to all emails the whole of last week or so. I could not reply to Mystical Dream too because of this problem. I will try later through another id. I got all your charts you are very thorough! IP: Logged |

To me, midpoint is very important in my prediction using solar arc method with 90 degree dial. I use the following midpoints quite often:Moon/Mar or Moon/Cupido = your wife Sun/Mar or Sun/Cupido = your husband Venus/Mercury = boy friend/girl friend Her Venus/his Sun = her love status with him His Venus/her Sun or His Venus/her Moon = his love status with her Asc/Cupido = Home Moon/Mercury = Car etc. With midpoint, I can get more specific and accurate prediction. here's where midpoints are important when the planets are in opposition (because the midpoint will form the square) An exact square (midpoint will form a semi-square) or when the midpoint closes off a T-Square (it will make the Grand square)In synastry when someones planet falls on an important midpoint you are drawn to that person. How do you think a Venus/Neptune conjunction falling on someone's Sun/Moon midpoint would make them feel?IP: Logged |

Hi Venus Since Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, any where they sit they are going to assist. Again how depends on the configuration it makes. On someones Sun/Moon midpoint, definately a positive connection. IP: Logged |

Interesting. My Sun/Moon midpoint is square my husband's Vertex (by 0 degrees). His Sun/Moon midpoint is square my Juno (by 0 degrees).IP: Logged |

Neptune, the ruler of my 7th house, will cross my Sun/Moon midpoint in February. It would be a good opportunity to check, if marriage timer works. I will write here, if marriage will happen. IP: Logged |
