Topic: Acsendent, what is we don't know the time?

HI, all. I am not sure about my birth time. are there any other ways to find or calculate the Rising sign?
being Pisces and having the whole horoscope as a part of my personality it is hard for me tofigure out what me acsendent is.
it should be iether scorpio, sagitarius, or capricorn. I have trates of all these signs: i can be secretive, intence, sexy and dominearing; outgoing, blant, and high spirited; serious, methodical and very ambitious; I think I am one of those Whate type Fish. born: march 2, 1974 (tiger)

Well, you already have a rough time so I'd say the best way to tell is find out which Ascendants cover that period of time and try and work out which you look and act most like. There are plenty of websites which have pictures and character descriptions of different ascendants. But I'm sure there's a simpler way.edit: Sorry, just read through your post properly!
You could try looking at your whole chart and allocating some of those personality traits to other planets. The most tell tell thing though is how you look. The only website I can think of is www.librarising.com but they're pretty mean about some ascendants and not very accurate. There's www.astrofaces.com which has pictures of real people so that's quite good. IP: Logged |

How do you look? i maen your coloring, facial features, body type, etc?I find that the ascendant + any 1st house planets really govern the appearance, in my experience. For example, I have Libra rising and a 1st house Pluto. I look very classically Venusian, hourglass figure, very feminine face, long thick hair, etc... but there's a Plutonian element which makes my face very hawk-like, dark and sharp... much like a Scorpio rising. I definitely fit the bill for both rulerships. It's an even blend of both energies. I have a friend with Uranus right on the ascendant, he's a Scorpio rising and looks very Plutonian with deep eyes and a very intimidating presence... but he's fair skinned, blue eyed and has blonde hair (which is a Uranian hallmark). The rest of his immediate family have brown hair and eyes! Another thing to look at is how each ascendant affects your planetary house placements. I'm sure that one ascendant will stand out far better than the others once you carefully examine which house each ascendant puts your planets in. For example, Mars in the 2nd house is going to make a lot more sense than Mars in the 5th if you are very business minded and financially successful and not very inclined toward creative activities and 5th house interests. The ascendant that places your planets in houses that make sense is definitely a big factor in rectifying your horoscope. I would look at all those factors and attempt to make sense of them when trying to figure out an unknown ascendant. Good luck! IP: Logged |
